Cannot Connect to The App Store bug still persistant for me. Did a full restore via iTunes and installed the ipsw file to no avail. Any hints?
Is this via cellular or wifi? The store itself of updates screen? My updates work fine. Havent tried the store as its not really complete yet anyway. Anyway you can try and toggle wifi off and on or remove wifi connection and add it back or reset network settings. If its cellular only then maybe reset network settings may help.

Quite weird though, Apple says there have been a lot of fixes for battery drain in beta 7, and I don’t see a change in battery life especially while using GPS based apps.
That doesn't state there were a lo of fixes for battery drain, more of a general statement that there were a lot of fixes in this beta.

When doing Navigation in car with Maps, the screen doe not light up 10 km or 2 km before I have to change direction. If I light it up manually, it will not get dark by itself (as it was in iOS10). I have this error through all PBs. Can someone confirm or comment?
Similar thing here: most of the time the screen does lights up when instructions are played, but it stays on way longer than it used to in iOS 10. Initially I thought it was because the phone was charging at the same time, but when unplugged nothing changed. Then I didn’t bother turning off the screen manually, only to find out that it did turn off by itself but only after a couple of minutes...

Some people are interested in the changes, but most of them are really minor

It's the 7th dev preview and 6th public beta... of course the changes are minor... it's more about focusing on and fixing bugs... sure there are minor tweaks here and there... but no new big changes are coming at this point.

The cannot connect to app store error was solved, don't know why though...

It may have been on the App Store side... I had some minor issues getting to the App Store on my iMac iTunes late last night and again earlier this morning.

Can anybody with CarPlay confirm that the screen is no longer switching to night mode when driving at night? I enjoy using it while I drive now that it follows the arrow in third person like Waze even if you’re not navigating but that screen is BLINDING when it’s dark outside.

I do not have this issue. CarPlay day/night working normally. 2017 Chevrolet Volt.

My Music app still always shuffles all songs when listening to any album or playlist on my 7+. I'm starting to think it will never be fixed...

I’m continuing to experience the bug of the control center Music player controls no longer working or showing album art and song info. Doesn’t happen all the time, but regularly. Anyone else?
Happens here a lot. Can you check your CC controls the next time it happens? Here it usually also breaks the volume control. Try altering the volume in the music app and then check the CC slider: It should be set to the old value.

Reported it twice already with screencasts showing off the widget/CC desync. This happened a lot in the last beta, only encountered 2 or 3 times so far in beta 7. A restart fixes it for a few hours.

hey! I was able to launch the music app again from the cover sheet! not sure what the issue was before thou.......

is anyone getting random resprings? I even got one today just driving in my car and my phone streaming radio over Bluetooth and the audio just suddenly stopped for no reason. looked down and black screen with a white spinning circle.

Hopefully apple can fix this by GM. It was an issue in 10.3.x that they mostly fixed in 10.3.3 but it's making a comeback.

Hey guys! I’ve been on the iOS 11 beta trail on my iPad mini 4 reporting bugs to Apple, and just put it on my iPhone now that the Square app is no longer crashing on iOS 11 (need the app for my business). Now I’m seeing this landscape keyboard on my 7 Plus. Is this a new change of the keyboard for iOS 11 or is this an ugly bug? I actually got used to the keyboard under iOS 10 after having this phone for the last few months, so hopefully it’s a bug and it didn’t change.

From release notes:

Control Center

• Tapping the Wi-Fi button in Control Center now disconnects from the current network and
temporarily disables Wi-Fi networking. (32299242)
Resolved Issues
• The expanded Wi-Fi UI in Control Center now updates the network name when
transitioning between networks. (32280116)
• The Bluetooth button behavior in Control Center now mirrors that of the Wi-Fi control.

Thank you for the info!

For anyone that may still be facing issue's with the AppStore not working correctly try these steps, I found this info on Reddit full credit to @ebewo:

  1. Open the App Store. (Obviously)
  2. Go to the today tab and check the date.
  3. Go to settings and disable set automatically in date and time.
  4. Change the date to the date seen in the today tab.
  5. Go to the App Store and leave it open for about 30 seconds.
  6. Go back to settings and re-enable set automatically in date and time.
  7. Kill the App Store in the app switcher.
  8. Reopen the App Store and hopefully everything should be working as usual.

Worked for me.

Logitech keyboard disconnect issue seems to be fixed in the latest beta - Everything appears to be working smoothly in fact...good signs!

For a few minutes, my phone removed the carrier name, and then brought it back.
Wonder if the iPhone 8 isn't gonna show carrier name at all with the new status bar
