What will you do exactly? Sell your phone and go Android. Or just upgrade anyway?

Nope. I will just be really disappointed is all I meant. I will still be upgrading regardless. Are we not allowed to air our concerns regarding performance though? It is getting rather late in the beta stage and this is actually the last one. Also, if we didn’t mention the lags and pretend everything is perfectly smooth then Apple wouldn’t bother fixing them.

I haven't seen this mentioned before, but since the earlier betas iOS 11 will not allow me to connect to an unsecured wifi network. This has happened at a couple of medical offices that have public wifi, but the wifi does not require a password. iOS gives the error that it cannot connect to an unsecured server.

Another thing I have noticed on my iPP 9.7 (wifi only) that when the pad has been in sleep mode for a while it shuts off wifi completely. When I wake the pad up it takes about 60 seconds for wifi to connect. Not really a problem I just find both situations interesting.

I have to join the debate about the Wi-Fi toggle.. Many of you says that it's better this way, but are you aware of how redundant that feature is? At least I think so. If I want to disconnect from my current Wi-Fi I can just walk away without touching a toggle to disconnect from it.

For example, when I'm home and I decide to go out, I know that I won't be using Wi-Fi so I simply turn it off in control center. That toggle is there when I want to DISABLE that thing not to tap on it to "disconnect" from it when more lazy way of doing that is to only walk away.

It doesn't make sense. Can you guys please explain it to me? I want real life experiences when it's actually convinient to quickly disconnect from current Wi-Fi.

PS: It would make some sense if we could 3D Touch on the toggle and quickly switch between available Wi-Fi connections.

Blurred status bar in lock screen since public beta 6 and persists in 7.

Happens randomly and disappears after rebooting. Anyone else have similar issues?

I've had some horribly annoying and major issues with various apps completely freezing my device up for 1-2 minutes at a time since the last beta or two, really hope they've fixed that, it's the worst iOS bug I've encountered in years.

You know, there's a minuscule chance that the problem is with the apps.

Beta 8 dont fox any of my current bugs. Sad.
And what might your list of current bug be? Would be useful to know what they are so that the experts can chime in to possible fixes.

Yes indeed...really annoying and the same lag on pressing home button to return to home screen from apps
Sorry I am simply not seeing what you are describing. My iPhone 7 Plus is smooth in all instances with Beta 8.

I find it quite handy actually. Only been using the beta on my iPhone for a few weeks but have used it many times when I’m in a place where wifi signal is poor. Slide up control Center, tap the wifi icon and it disconnects nicely. In the past, I would use control Center to turn off wifi, but I wouldn’t always remember to go back to turn it on afterwards.

I assume Apple sees it in that it would be more handy to be able to disconnect from a network rather than shut off wifi. Would be cool to have both options though. Even if tapping the wifi icon gave a quick menu of “Disconnnect from network” and “Power off wifi”.

No way, 10000 hours of usage of previous versions and never had this once, now getting it multiple times a night with multiple apps. No logic there. It’s the OS.

Or a couple taps to go into settings? I quite like it this way. If I disconnect from one I don’t have to remember to reenable when I go somewhere else.

Mostly personal preference.

There's always THIS solution to toggling WiFi... arguably faster than using CC anyway...

Good luck with that... the joys of running beta software.

Haven't noticed too much so far, but they confirmed the fixing of a JavaScript bug I had reported. Animation performance was stuttering a bit, now it's smooth. So that's nice :)

New bug - After using screen recording from CC, it will freeze the home screen! You'll need to force restart the device since nothing is responsive

Well I’m glad for but I can’t describe to you in any other way. 3D Touch icons is laggy and when in an app, clicking home button to return home desktop is laggy also. This is this way for me since B4.

Was really hoping Messages in iCloud would be enabled. I think it's my most anticipated feature.

Because they’ve gotta make sure it slows down just enough in time for the new iPhone. So people are gonna wanna upgrade for snappier 3D Touch. ;)
Not sure if you are being sarcastic but you are exactly right! I'd like to see some comparison videos of an iPhone 7 on 10.3.3 vs the new 7S/8 running 11 and see the speed difference. They will be neck and neck. But upgrade your 7 to iOS 11 and it will be slower by a notch than it was before. We go through this every year.

Cue the conspiracy-mongers.
