iOS 11 Developer beta 9 — Changes, Issues, and so on

Fingers crossed that the resprings aren't as bad as they were in Beta 8.

There must be an app or setting causing this, I have seen 0 resprings on a 7+, and both sizes of iPad Pro 2nd gen.

This bug was present in iOS 10 too. Not sure why people have considered it a persistent bug in iOS 11. It’s been there forever

I never had this issue in iOS 10.

I had numerous on my 7 Plus when I didn’t have any from beta 1-7. It was weird. Nothing seemed to cause it directly either

Are you referring to the time the beta dropped? Because yes, it was later than usual which worried me that we weren't getting it, for a moment.

Also does anyone have an issue where the device won't wake up if you lock it and try to wake it back up a few seconds later? This has happened to me since Beta 5.

I might do a reinstall of the GM once it comes out to see if a fresh install fixes these issues

maybe folks should define what they consider "laggy" on 3D touch... Do you expect the sub-menu to pop up the moment you rest your finger on the home button? Or is the 1/2 second it takes too slow for you? I guess I am just not THAT picky on it. Mine seems fine to me.

It seems some are fixated on this supposed lag when it's probably just a preference. (Unless you're the guy who was complaining about the almost imperceptible "flaw" in the App Store icon.)

Welcome to MacRumors 2017. There is a frame or two that is skipped, so it makes the animation look laggy. It has 0 effect on real use, but people have been complaining all year about it.

Still getting a flicker when I 3d touch on the phone icon. The contact photos flicker when engaging 3d touch. Does not do this on 10.3.3

For the people who are having issues with 3D Touch, what setting is your 3D Touch set to? Is it Soft, Medium, or Firm? I was having issues when my was set to Firm. I turned 3D Touch off, then back on, and set it to Medium. Issues seems to be gone, as far as I can tell. No more grey boxes and stutters.

Sir, this has fixed the 3D touch lag for me, everyone should try this workaround

mines was set to medium and I followed the steps except for setting it to Firm and it made no difference.

I must admit I am not familiar with the "calculator lag." Is it horribly noticeable?
