So far.

This beta feels slower and has more stutters.

Totally notice the 3D Touch lagging frame drop issue. It’s more evident when you do it on the phone app.

I think the 3D Touch lagging is also related to the general animations which are also sluggish. So once they fix that everything should be flying again.

Things seems to load a little slower than I’m use in this beta.

When in safari and you put the screen to sleep then wake it up. Safari is blank for a second. Seems to happen randomly.

No resprings yet. This usually happens for me when I pull down notifications or in some random app. I usually have notifications from a few days ago.

WiFi and Bluetooth were buggy at first. But toggling both on and off fixed that. So far my devices are staying connected. But I’ve noticed one disconnect with my BeatsX.

Randomly. The Bluetooth headset icon will disappear and show the Bluetooth icon again. Even though my headset is still connected. The same shows in control center. Everything else like the music app shows it still connected and sound goes to it as such. After a hr it seems to correct itself.

I also got the selection bug in Safari. Very annoying.

To me this beta doesn’t feel “snappy” as iOS 10 was for me. Especially scrolling, feels slightly behind. I’ll keep hopes up until GM.

On the odd side. None, not all, of these issues are present on my iPad Pro 10.5. It’s smooth as butter, especially scrolling. Apps open fast and such. It just doesn’t feel like the same update lol. I did notice minor stutters here and there but it’s like a 360 vs my iPhone 7 Plus performance.

I’m getting tired of sending bug reports to Apple. But it seems they are listening. They did fix the video scroll stutter bug I had in this beta. Quick turn around time. So maybe it’s worth the effort.

As for battery life.

It’s drain rate during usage is still higher then I remember it being in iOS 10. But it’s gottten better. They seem to be focusing on it in the last few betas. As for full charge I’d have to follow up. YouTube app is still trouble with battery drain. Google needs to optimize.

Is there any way to check the status of a bug report that you filed?
If you put accessibility settings, reduce motion on, and swipe up for control center, then press home button, and repeat. It alternates between very translucent and can’t see good, and then back to normal where easy to read. Over and over. It Shows up in portrait and landscape mode. Just wanted to see if they comment or if it is a duplicate because I’ve filed the same one before. It is frustrating for me because I always have reduced motion turned on and can’t see control center half the time.

How about no i have 7 plus with fresh install and everyone also says its glitchy so calm down and let me post what i want
If you can calm down and stop posting lagging thing, everyone will be happy.
Btw no matter what I do I don’t notice any stutter either.

This is here for at least iOS 9 if I remembered it right. Never get fixed. Works randomly, or intermittently rather.

Birthdates added to contacts normally show in the calendar now they don’t even though the ‘Birthdays’ section in ‘Calendar>Calendars>Other is selected.

Feedback submitted.

Ok no worry. I’d say lets report the issue in this beta. The more reporting, it should get the engineers attention right away.

As for the stuttering, I’ve attached a video with me force touching on some icons. If you not seeing it on your side. Then maybe it’s time for me to do a factor reset again.

There must be an app or setting causing this, I have seen 0 resprings on a 7+, and both sizes of iPad Pro 2nd gen.

There are still a couple good respiring bugs in apples own apps. I posted an iMessage one a few days Back, dunno if it’s fixed in this build.

If they don't fix the lag on the 7 Plus I will stay on iOS 10.3.3 forever on my phone. My iPhone 6 got destroyed when I upgraded past 8.4.1 and I am not destroying my phone.

Report it in the feedback. The more ppl who do it the more they might take it serious. Still though. I did the same on the iPad mini 2 and they improved the performance by next beta.

At this point, iOS 11 is complete
Couldn’t disagree more. There are still features that haven’t been implemented as they can’t really be implemented in beta. It’s only really safe to assume ios 11 is complete when we get GM.

In the Music app, it seems like albums that are played from Apple Music are now tagged with your initials (or possibly profile pic, I don’t have one)

Okay, let’s call this 3D Touch “lag” what it really is.

It’s a frame rate stutter about 75% into the opening animation. This is for 3D touching on an app.

Pretty sure everyone has that, but some folks may not notice, which is great for them. I’m sure it will be smoothed out by next spring.

Pretty insignificant issue imho as I’ve had many other issues like resprings (including beta 9) and freezing.

Exactly. There is a difference between lag and frame rate stutter.
[doublepost=1504233538][/doublepost]I have to say that you can’t really judge the speed of a new update within a few hours of installing. I mean you can, but the speed is likely to improve over time. I can’t speak to a specific time frame, but for me every beta has improved in performance the day or two following install.

Agreed. I see performance has improved a little now.

Issue remains. iPad keeps respringing during photo sync.

Have you tried a factor reset and restore?

Yes. I've set it up as new with beta 7, 8 and 9. Pain in the ass. iOS 11 betas are the worst betas since iOS 7 for me.

Pretty bad but I’d think most iPhone 6 batteries are probably pretty well shot and used up by now.

It's only been a year since the 6 was no longer sold by apple.

Discontinued September 7, 2016

Is it just me or is auto-brightness more aggressive after this latest update? Much more (iPhone 7)
