I think you mean 6s?

Nope iPhone 6 was still sold by apple last august.

Couldn’t disagree more. There are still features that haven’t been implemented as they can’t really be implemented in beta. It’s only really safe to assume ios 11 is complete when we get GM.

Even then it won't be "complete". Apple already said that the cloud messaging won't be released until a later version

Not sure who posted the bug about carplay and playlists shuffling and unable to "un-shuffle"...but just do this:

get to a song, swipe up, unselect shuffle from below the song.

I kept getting the same thing when each beta was installed. Would default to shuffle mode and having the "play" and "shuffle" buttons above the playlist or album listing just starts the songs...it doesn't actually allow you to turn off shuffle mode from that spot.

Starting the first song for example...make sure you tap on the lower part of the screen to bring up the full song screen, swipe up and see the "shuffle" and "repeat" buttons....tap on the "shuffle" button to de-select and that will fix it moving forward.

PIP video covers the UI buttons in multitasking (split view & slide over)

In beta 8 it partially covered the UI buttons. Now in beta 9 it fully covers the UI buttons.

I sent feedback suggesting that they raise the PIP video slightly so UI buttons are accessible but they lowered it instead. This is very irritating if you are trying to switch tabs or create new note or mail message etc.

Beta 9 vs Beta 8

I was hoping Apple would very slightly raise the PIP video when in multitasking, like this:

Well just had my first respring and freeze. Mind you my uptime was about hr cause my phone had died. All I was doing was listening some music then I lock the phone. Tried to turn the screen on by pressing the home button then heard the music stop and the screen wouldn’t turn on. 1min later it resprings.

Is anyone else still having issues with handoff? It doesn’t work at all between iOS devices and barely works between iOS and MacOS devices for me.

It's only been a year since the 6 was no longer sold by apple.

True, just thinking more along the lines of when I got mine around 3 years ago. 3 years would be stretching battery life pretty good. Plus some charge twice a day causing further wear on battery.

Sorry to mention it as I know it’s getting beat pretty badly but my 3D Touch is beyond borked now. Some icons work fine but others I just get the grey frame around the icon until I lift my finger then the menu pops up.
It works for me all the time but the dropped frames are quite noticeable on my 7 Plus. Doesn’t really bother me, but would expect it to be more smoother.

3D touch for me works fine, after the first time.
The first time I use it lags and then it works fine until I restart the device or a lot of time passes without me using it.

try typing in 1 + 2 + 3 in rapid succession (you don't have to be that fast, either). it's not lag but it's unexpected behavior.

Thanks. I guess I don’t use the calculator enough to have come across that. Looks like an input lag at the very least while it is messing around with making the operand buttons glow... how stupid...

Is it just me or is auto-brightness more aggressive after this latest update? Much more (iPhone 7)

I have had 2 instances so far where the “manually enable until tomorrow” option on night shift has enabled itself in the middle of the day.

Ok no worry. I’d say lets report the issue in this beta. The more reporting, it should get the engineers attention right away.

As for the stuttering, I’ve attached a video with me force touching on some icons. If you not seeing it on your side. Then maybe it’s time for me to do a factor reset again.

Well, tbh, I don’t see any stutter or lag, or what I see is what I consider “fluent” - that is, some people are super stutter sensitive, and they can not withstand even the slightest slowdown.
I do admit, however, that the bug of being unable to invoke force touch actions in one go intermittently is still there, which was not there back to iOS 10 era.

Does anyone else have this issue that I have on my iPad Air 2?

When I go to the today screen and swipe through the widgets, it almost always acts as though I've tapped on the widget and opens the relevant app. I'm forever winding up in the News app when I'm trying to swipe through.

Should I edit it into the first post in this thread?

I have a bug when I search through mail and the settings app. When i return to original search results, the cancel button cannot be pressed and I have to restart the app. Anyone else with this problem? Driving me nuts.

Been wondering what it feels like to be on iOS 11.. does it give your phone a different feel. Or does it feel like same o same o...

I found that logging out and back in to icloud on the offending device resolved my issue when I had this problem on an earlier beta.

Yes this keeps happening to me, but with the reminders app.
