Always great to see the enthusiastic reactions to these minor updates. Like iOS has ever gotten big updates in the past. Even the redesigned iOS 7 wasn't actually that great, I much prefer to think back to iOS 6 which was so refined although it only really brought Apple Maps as far as I can remember.

iOS 11 is another refinement and makes it better like every other year. The big story is in my opinion iOS for iPad. Just look at that,

Wow, what a major let down, still the same UI interface. No grouping of notifications. No group FaceTime, nothing thats fresh. Same dock experience, same static icons. No manual mode or camera settings baked in. I understand they said they have a lot to go over or they don't want to show features that may give away to the next iPhone. These items are all software related. Why can't you FaceTime and do other things at the same time like Android. It may be time to say goodbye.

That doesn't make any sense, they managed to add it to the ipad without a redesign, what's stopping it being added to iphone?
Well, they didn't change anything with the dock for iPhones when it comes to iOS 11, so it's possible they are going to do it with a larger redesign instead.

I'm really wondering what that 'NFC Reader Mode' function is all about, any guesses? Is that kind of the same thing as connected fitness gear, or is Apple quietly opening up to more NFC functionality other than Apple Pay?

Same comments, new year.

Just wait for the beta to drop. I'm positive Night Mode will be iPhone 8 exclusive, because of the OLED screen.

That's it, I'm done with Apple. I gave them this one last chance to sort the operating system out and they've done almost nothing.

Time to switch to Android.
Enjoy your Android fragmentation, where the same thing happens. Expecting a company to do what you want them to do all the time is a recipe for disappointment.

Why not build your own OS.? That way, you will only be mad at yourself.

Damn, that control center redesign is hideous! And by the keynote there's nothing really interesting for a big version, looks more like a 10.X update. Let's wait for the beta testers for more...
And it appears that the connection carrier bars are back (instead of the dots introduced on iOS 7), anyone noticed?
