Typical fanboy response.

Where did I say I wanted Apple to do what I wanted all the time?

I was expecting/hoping for night mode, customisable control centre, and grouped notifications. People have been asking for these for 2 years and Apple have responded with a huge F.U.

I'm gone.
I am no fanboy. Your reply confirmed my response to you. If you want to take your ball and go home when you don't get your way, go right ahead. Android won't give you everything you want either.

You were wanting what you wanted. You didn't get it today. That doesn't mean that it won't happen later this year with the new iPhones.

Just finished installing on iPhone 6s Plus ... Files app is installed .. lots of bold headings , different animations across the system .notifications might take a little re-learning

Ok that's good. But the question remains: why not brag about it during the keynote? The world is watching and they say nothing. Woeful.
Because most people don't watch these keynotes with a checklist of every single feature they could possibly dream of and switch platforms because some boxes were left unchecked at the end.

I'm really wondering what that 'NFC Reader Mode' function is all about, any guesses? Is that kind of the same thing as connected fitness gear, or is Apple quietly opening up to more NFC functionality other than Apple Pay?

it's possible. but most likely only while that app is currently active. they don't want anything to make apple pay harder to use.

dark mode is real! there are two invert options - smart invert and classic invert

looks like some apps will need to catch up though... pics in instagram look like the the old version still..

There is no grouping by app notifications... Bye bye Apple...
Bye, we won't miss you.

Seriously, people need to stop whining when they don't get what they wanted. It starts to get annoying. Every time there's people who miss one single features, and they already start complaining. Quit the crap.

iOS 11 is more than I expect to be honest. I really believed it would be like iOS 9, but it seems to be between iOS 9 and iOS 10. And let's not forget: there's literally tons of features that Apple didn't tell you about, even in that one slide with the small additions. For example, the Control Center customization (although it is mentioned on their website).

Just grow up people. Be happy with what you get. I know that I am. I've seen some interesting new features already, and I'm not even talking about the features that Apple didn't tell us about. Currently installing on my iPhone 7. Looking forward to it!

iOS 11 lets you customize the redesigned Control Center so you can change the settings for the things you do most. Want to be ready when inspiration hits? Add a Voice Memos control. Want to dim the lights in the dining room with a tap? Add Home controls. Or use 3D Touch in Control Center to unlock even more commands.

Unfortunately changing the settings is not the same as changing the items. We'll have to see how the Applespeak translates into actual function.

For me, maybe, it's major changes on the tech, file compression, vr stuff and so on. Maybe it's useful for developers and better ios management. In term of Functionality for users, that's what apple hope developer to provide .... maybe .... just my thought

Please share any new feature on the beta :)

There is a built in screen recorder you can enable in Settings in Control Center customization.

Wait, what is new?

New control panel UI which is nice.

New app store design.

What? That's it? lol
Mostly an iPad update which is good.

The re-shuffling of Control Center items took a ***** year?
And still we can't decide what's included.
Yes you can. Control Center is now customizable.

Lets not forget everyone who installs a BETA version and gets pissed at the reduced battery life, crashes, apps not working, lost data etc and asking how Apple could release something so buggy.
I'll never understand why non-devs download beta software. Just because they can't wait until September?

Because it's probably a small niche that even care about it. Most people I know forget that control center is even there and hardly ever use it. And it's not because they can't customize it.

Basically. I've downloaded it before on my iPad where it wouldn't be a problem if there was major bugs, and I acknowledged that there will be problems. Never on a primary device though. Hopefully this year with most improvements being under the hood and not released in beta (P2P Apple Pay), then hopefully the complaints will be less this year.

Why are people so obsessed with re-designs. Redesigining software all the time is terrible UX. I know so many people who just learn how to use something and get used to it and then the UI changes and they want to throw their phone in the garbage.
