I really wanna see iCloud imessage drop that was my favorite feature in iOS 11 and it would allow me to set up as new every time an iOS dropped and just restore my messages only.

That’s exactly what’s about to happen lol. Apple doesn’t focus on stutters n such until .2 and .3 releases typically. They focus on bug fixes in .1 releases
That is plain stupid thing because the stutters get re-introduced in next iOS versions.

I am not surprised. This version is in close running with iOS 8.
My devices are pretty smooth on iOS 11.0.2. My Air 2 hasn't had any more problems since restoring as new with 11.0.1 and my 8Plus hasn't had any noticeable issues since installing 11.0.1. It just confirms that everyone's device will act differently.

Yeah, my battery is amazing on the 6s; almost 40 hours of standby and almost 8 of usage. 3D Touch on the other hand...

This beta is chalked full of issues. But I really need an update on watch os because the latest beta is the worst I’ve ever tested on any of the Apple watches.

I un-paired and re-paired yesterday, and it solved a few problems, particularly the terrible battery life. I'd be on power save mode by now, but after re-pairing I'm back to normal at 75%

Hold it. It’s confirmed by my sources (Madscotsman)

Not to mention, banks and federal/state/local government agencies tend to be the only businesses that close for today's holiday here in the U.S. There's the exception for some businesses in Washington, DC that follow the federal holiday calendar that are off as well.

Yep that's one of the really big issues.. there is also a really nasty bug that can red ring the watch on the latest beta too. I was able to replicate it on 2 watches so those went back to Apple for downgrading.. or whatever they do with them. Fast turn around.. now I'm just waiting for the next beta to see if that bug is smashed or not.

I have never seen Apple release updates on a holiday but what the heck, there's a first time for everything =)
Its very rare, but because its not a full national holiday (i.e. businesses closed besides gov.), we sometimes get them. Last year we had something on Columbus Day and a few years back we got something on MLK day too.

Oh I see, ok then. Either way, Madscotsman was right about 11.0.2 so I somehow have a feeling he’ll be right about today.
I also think he is right, I'm not claiming he isn't. I'm merely stating the evidence that you provided for an update today is incorrect.

Fair enough, but you can see how it could be misleading since the release wasn’t really noticed and I only saw it on twitter today.

Last year iOS 10.1 beta 3 was released on Columbus Day 10/10/2016 https://www.macrumors.com/2016/10/10/apple-seeds-ios-10-1-beta-3-to-developers/

Apple released Itunes 12.6.3 today, so they are working today. It’s coming.
iTunes is up to 12.7 now. That is the one that killed the Apps store in iTunes. But seems they re-introduced 12.6.3 today

Yes, but on 9/23 Apple re-released 12.6.3 for those that needs to use iTunes for installing Apps. It just wasn't picked up until yesterday in a thread and today on the front page.

No its not. Please check the support article and the thread in High Sierra sub-thread.

It was introduced on 9/23, but no one found it until yesterday.
