It’s stable yes, battery performance is absolutely dire though. I’m having to put the phone on charge several times a day. I’d of downgraded weeks ago if I didn’t put Watch os 4 on my watch!

As a general rule of thumb, I would always wait a week or so of using the iOS beta before updating WatchOS. It's annoying you can't downgrade WatchOS, which is a separate issue. But you can use iOS 11 and Watch OS 3

I’m a fairly new AW user and didn’t know you couldn’t downgrade unless it’s sent off.

Yeah, until Apple gives the use of the diagnostic port and a cable to hook it up to our computers, downgrading and thus a PB will not be available for the Watch. I'm sure its probably a complicated procedure to flash it as well.

iOS 5, they pushed a beta out on a Sunday. Anything is possible with this company.
No they did not.

Beta 1: Wednesday
Beta 2: Friday
Beta 3: Monday
Beta 4: Friday
Beta 5: Saturday Morning (This is when betas were not released at 10AM, but rather in the evening)
Beta 6: Friday
Beta 7: Wednesday

Even though I'm on the iOS 11 beta, I'm staying away from the Watch Beta until at least 2, if not 3. Having that as a one way street is a big challenge.

I was on iOS 10 beta all last summer, didn't touch watchOS until the GM. Its not worth the risk in my opinion.
I'd love to try the Siri watchface, but not worth bricking an out of warranty watch for. At least if I brick it on the release version, I have an argument that Apple should reset it for me. They might do it anyways, even during the beta, but better chance later.

Completely agree. I would be more risky if my health data was securely in iCloud, but with all that being in beta, I am not risking that at all. I care too much about that. Also, my watch is now out of warranty and if they charge the $199 replacement fee, I wouldn't be happy.

There are no rules, but there are definitely times and patterns.

Guys just face it, next week. Are we really going to continue to hash this out for another 6 days?

See, I don't have either of those issues. Did you update or new install?

I did an update. From what I’ve read it works on a clean install but if you then restore from a backup it stops working again. I’m not willing to lose everything so just waiting it out :)

I also upgraded my Air 2. Neither of those issues are present for me.

Actually no, it was said "At the end of the month". Check time 1:59:15 of the keynote video.

(Sorry youtube share won't go to exact time)

Tomorrow would be PB on Friday. That hasn't happened before for a X.0 release. Lets just face it, net week.

Haha, was going on memory but okay okay you got me :) Late == at the end

I think the betas on odd days come later in the cycle if last year in any indication. I don't imagine we'll be seeing beta 2 this week, if it hasn't come today. Next Monday or Tuesday is the most likely candidate at this point, and public beta 1 or 2 days later. Just adding my opinion to this.

End of the month sounds more specific to me than late June. Now I'm thinking (and would've thought yesterday) next week for sure.

Of course, It’s never going to change. The pointless argument is one of the best parts of reading this forum.

Would avoid switching to watchOS 4, the battery drainage on my watch is unbelievable! Usually gets me through the day, with watchOS 4, I get roughly 3 hours of it max. Just hoping beta 2 can fix the battery issues on my iPhone and watch.

Get rid of the Weather on your watch if it's in the Dock or on the watch face. When you flick up to the control panel, there is a purple GPS icon, it stays on if the weather is on the watch and drains the battery. I replaced Weather with Weather Underground and my battery lasts all day again...

Okey guys. What do we think?
Today?
Next week?
I personally think Today or next week. I wouldn't be surprised if it drops tomorrow either.

iOS11 on iPhone 5s is pretty slow. I hope beta 2 will be faster!

What do u think?
