3 more months until we get iOS 12 Beta 1! Now, I’m excited about that! June 5th coming soon. Hopefully it isn’t tooooo buggy. The iOS 11 betas were bad and it really didn’t get better until 11.2, and that was in December. So from June to December, iOS 11 was buggy as hell.
iOS 11 is still horrible and is up there with iOS 8.

Hope to get new beta in 5 mins.

So it is 10 builds further along from beta 4 (15E5201e), nice! Here's hoping they mainly focused on stability!

Edit: I am not sure what the a and e at the end mean

And with "a", which should mean it's better than the previous "e" revision
Not exactly. That is the version of THAT build. So 'a' would be the 1st version and 'e' would be a 5th version of that particular build. A minor change to the same build basically.

Yes, but when they get many revisions of a single build, it's usually because they fix more things after the build is out. So we usually tend to see 'e', 'f', 'g' in the first betas of a long cycle (.x releases) and it gets to 'a', 'b', 'c' further down the betas as it gets polished and better

EDIT: but then again, it's not an indicator of quality... just an indicator of that build passing QA the first time

I’m no prophet. I’m not a miracle worker. But, I predict a beta 6 on Thursday as well - because I haven’t spent my baseless-speculation ticket yet.

i wouldnt be surprised if beta 6 is thursday. monday is beta 7 and then the following monday is public release. im going with march 26th.

What's the point of releasing a beta build if you don't give it any soak time to find bugs?
Other than a massive bug that would affect testers base functionality, I don't see why you would release another in only a few days.

Because the majority of public beta users are using betas to have the newest software, and not to test and report bugs, but rather complain about them.

Is this different than yesterday's release (I can't access my phone to check)?
