Wonder if this requires an iOS update or if the parts are already in 11.2.6?

Could indicate the release date of 11.3 if an iOS update is required.

I think it requires a full update. Our Canadian banking friend who used to give us good info on this could tell us for sure, but he has been scarce around here the last few months. He was tipping as to some release dates so he may be on an Apple induced “sabbatical”.

I'm confused why everyone was predicting two betas this week but it clearly has merit.

Didn't install beta 5 in time (had it scheduled for Friday night but Settings cancelled/deleted it and asked to install 6) and had to download the full update for beta 6.

I'm confused why anyone would assume GM today. Beta 6 was released Friday. Apple wasn't working 200% over the weekend to push out a Beta 7 1 business day later - that's not nearly enough time to have a productive beta version, unless Beta 6 had a critical issue mandating a fix (which it appears there wasn't)

I'm assuming Beta 7 will be more or less GM, and will come before this Friday, and Public will come out sometime next week. Didn't Apple say 11.3 in "Spring"? That would be no earlier than tomorrow, but seeing as we don't have the final beta or GM yet, I cannot see a release this week unless they rush it out.

i don't want to see a GM any time soon. too much bugs.
Apple needs to fix this ASAP to clean their reputation.

I am not expecting 11.3 before April.

My gut feeling is that they release it at or shortly after their March 27th event.
I think we see beta 7 this week, gm early next week before the event

I'm sure we'll see Beta 7 this week, which may in turn be GM and then final a week later. If there are significant bugs remaining, I don't think they'll be fixed in 11.3 at this point.

So, what happens to Messages in iCloud? Postponed to iOS12?

If they were going to pull iCloud messages they would have done so already, like they did with AirPlay 2.

I agree... BUT... I personally have 3 major issues and it feels like some real magic is needed in order for Apple to crush these bugs in time for the final release (if the date March 27th is still valid)
