The list of known/remaining issues is rather long for something that is excepted to release next week. And Apple have even removed features like AirPlay 2 from the release all together.

Keep in mind, those list of issues are from forum members, and not necessarily those known internally by Apple. They should have been logged to Apple by forum members, but who knows if they were. It's also hard to say what is functioning by design, versus what is a few forum users complaining or wishing they saw implemented differently.

I’ve gotta admit I’ve been finding this beta to be fairly smooth. It’s still no where near as smooth as the iOS 6 days, but for iOS 11 standards it is the smoothest out of the bunch so far. My iPhone 6S feels like it did on iOS 10 again. If iOS 12 is only going to improve on this even more then I’d be pretty happy. Hopefully they can focus on maintaining a solid 60fps for iOS 12, that’s the only thing I really want. Everything else would just be a bonus. PiP and split screen multitasking would be nice though considering the larger iPhone sizes releasing this year.

Edit: Also, sort out the RAM management! I get refreshes in Safari when watching YouTube vids. It’s really really annoying.

Edit 2: I was meant to post this in the beta 6 changes thread. Ah well.

Was this not an issue historically on prior iterations of iOS? Curious if the 6S is just showing it's age due to iOS demanding more RAM for various tasks that it performs where it didn't previously.

It was released on a Saturday past midnight and only because of the month 13 bug. If people were not having endless crashing, it would not have been released.

You sure you are not thinking of the 6? Multiple 6s in my family, none with a RAM issue.

I also think ram management has been horrible on iOS 11. I don’t ever recall having to reload this many apps before on iOS 10, my iPhone X can barely keep apps open for me without having to reload them. All the “speed” test videos out there prove it as well.

Gave my iPhone X away for a week and I've used a Samsung Galaxy S4. I know, old phone, but got the job done surpingly...everything was snappy even with it's 2 GB of RAM...It reminds me of my old iPhone 4 in some way :D

So I'm now oficially back on my iPhone and I really hope a new beta comes today :)
