That's the hope, at any rate! The benefit of having betas come out later than we expected is that there will be even more bug fixes since they had more time to fix them. So I’m really hoping beta 3 is stable AF.
The Wednesday at 1PM was very common pre-iOS 8. iOS 7 was the last time we saw Wednesday 1PM releases. Before that (iOS 6 and older) we would get 5PM releases on Thursdays and Fridays. This beta cycle feels really weird. Even last year, with the 3-weeks between b1 and b2, it felt like there was a logic to it.
This year all bets are off. I don't think they've ever dropped a .0 beta on a Friday, but they've never dropped one at 1pm PST on a Wednesday also.
My gut says Monday, but who knows. We could see one today.

I think as iOS became more complicated they kept it at the usual Mon-Wed morning incase they needed to fix something. It is very unlikely we get something today.
From a programming and support standpoint, one I believe Apple is very aware of, you would not want to release something non-critical on a Friday since, if something were to break, there would be two days (weekend where none of the dev team is working) before a patch could likely be released.

Apple does care. Because if you brick developer's devices and leave them stranded, thats a quick way to lose business on the app store.I seriously doubt apple cares if it they release it on a a Friday and risk it having major issues and leaving beta testers with a faulty beta for the weekend. It's a BETA. We were warned not to install it on a idevice that we use everyday. Beta in general are not stable.
Probably Monday for b3

You honestly think there would be no backlash by developers if Apple released an update that entirely broke cellular data or bricked the device in an endless recovery mode loop and then just left it for a week, wiped their hands and said "oh well its a beta".Yeah okay.

Its called a bug. A bug can break anything. Even a public release broke cellular and that was immediately pulled and fixed.Never said broke cell signal. When has a apple beta completely broke the cell signal. I honestly dont know. So tell me if there was. And no developers for apple will always be there. They could lose some but honestly they really don't care because there will always be new ones and loyal ones will stay regardless.

Touch ID and no cell reception. I was affected.
"Version 8.0.1 had been rushed out to solve a series of issues, but those who downloaded it complained that they lost phone signal, leaving them unable to make calls. Others said the Touch ID feature, which allows people to unlock their iPhone using their fingerprints, no longer worked."
Ok so as you see on this page: http://www.thinkybits.com/blog/iOS-versions/
Usually first 2 betas of X.0 iOS lasted 30 or 35 days toghether...
iOS 8: Beta 1 (15) + Beta 2 (20) = 35 days
iOS 9: Beta 1 (15) + Beta 2 (15) = 30 days
iOS 10: Beta 1 (22) + Beta 2 (13) = 35 days
AND we have iOS 11: Beta 1 (16) + Beta (17 so far) = 33 days ===> Adding Saturday and Sunday WE HAVE EXACTLY 35 days so doing the math we learn beta 3 is coming this Monday...

I wonder if Apple programmers actually come into this forum and just laugh their butts off with all the different calculations on how we try to figure out when a beta is going to be released .. or maybe we are correct on the predictions and they hold off just to mess with us
