iOS 11.x.x Release Speculation Thread

No idea who the "reddit guy" is, but, believe it or not, Apple employees are people too. My friend is a software release manager for TvOS, WatchOS and iOS. The employees are obviously under contract, but they find creative ways to release harmless information.

So what you're saying is that you work for the software release department at Apple and that Beta 4 is dropping today Gotcha

Hope it comes out Monday the latest. Phone gets incredibly hot no matter what i’m doing. Almost feels unsafe.

I would at least Reset All Settings. That has happened to a few people but certainly not normal for this beta.

Beta 3 is a mess in terms of battery and stuttering, pls Apple focus more on That !

All betas will be a mess in terms of battery life. That is literally the last thing Apple focuses on during the beta process. That works itself out eventually, especially once you start removing all the additional beta software closer to the GM.

Agreed, but I haven't found beta 3 battery life to even be that bad. Beta 2 was horrific.

Beta 3 was horrible for me on both iPad and iPhone for 5 days then it just cleared up and went back to normal (for a beta). Been fine since.

Agreed, but I haven't found beta 3 battery life to even be that bad. Beta 2 was horrific.

Same here, I’m finding 3 significantly better on my 6s+

The thing is...everyone has been saying Monday as well. This ‘insider’ isn’t posting anything out of the ordinary.
