The pessimist in me thinks that iOS 11 beta 5 will not be as big of an improvement in performance/stability that people here are hoping for in 8 and a half hours. Beta 4 had a lock screen dimming issue, messages third party keyboard lag and animation lags when just doing some scrolling around in the OS on my 7+, just to name a few bugs that are a big reminder that you are running a very unpolished beta. Those minor things get really annoying when you have to deal with him dozens of times a day.

is today the day where after downloading the new beta, you declare (again) that you're going to go back to iOS 10?

And then in 2 weeks get all pumped for the new beta (yet again)? Can I call starting the dan9700 Official Flip-flop thread?
I changed my mind after beta 4 so why don’t u stop being a smart ass

Going from the historical data, I'm guessing by tomorrow you'll be back on iOS 10. Crossing my fingers I get this prediction right!

Guys! Reign it in. You don't wanna end up both suspended from the forum, the mods will happily do that if you continue bickering - speaking from experience. Let's return this thread to a peaceful one.

I’m confused (newbie here). Are we not talking about the PB in this thread? So it may only be the dev release today?

Well, this thread is mostly about the Developer Preview beta which has so far been released exactly a day before the Public Beta release. Although, in previous years, eventually the Public Beta is released the same day as the Developer Preview, and then even later on it's released at the same time. It's just a matter of when.

We are expecting new betas this week, so it's almost certain that we'll see a new Developer Preview update in just under 2 hours. It's a guess as to whether we then see the next Public Beta today or tomorrow.

Seriously hoping the next PB is released today. Been having some major issues with System storage that I’m crossing my fingers will be resolved with the next public beta.
