iOS 11.x.x Release Speculation Thread

The next release could be "Release Candidate 1".

How's that for speculation!

There are two other iPhones to be released this Fall besides the 8. We will have the 7S/7S+. Even if the 8 is delayed due to supply issues, iOS 11 and the 7S & 7S+ will probably be released on time.

Yeah, usually 2-4 weeks. This would be about 2.5 weeks. I feel like 3.5 weeks from 8/14 -> 9/6 might be too long.

Let's see if he's right. I've held off installing iOS 11 betas on my daily but hoping to jump on the train with Beta 6 at least.

They better add back the gradients I still feel devastated that they did away with them

No one knows could be 2 week as lots to fix and I then weekly after near the time

Interesting if Beta 6 contains all the iPhone 8/Homepod stuff. So all infos are leaked there is no need to hide them in current iPhone/iPad releases.

Apple aren't going to willingly release information about future products. They'd be happy to leave out anything that's not necessary until it is necessary. Quite often, the version of iOS that ships on the new iPhones is a point release anyway.

I think last year we got beta 6 on the 15th, so I wouldn't be surprised if we got it tonight.
