I couldn't care less what the icon changes are. People put WAY too much stock into some silly icons. All of these Youtube reviews freaking out over tiny changes to icons as if the world just ended.

Same with the wallpapers, what is the big hard-on about a few wallpapers being removed or no new added? Do people actually use those silly things and not realize you can use ANY photo you want off of the internet as a wallpaper? Hello 2009.

LOL - I find it fascinating how much scrutiny things like that get.

The constant removal of wallpapers and device exclusivity is quite annoying. It’s more of a convenience thing that’s the issue, considering it doesn’t require much to keep existing wallpapers through updates and the pre iOS 7 alert sounds have stuck around. The only wallpaper removal that I find actually bothersome is that of the live wallpapers. There isn’t a way to download those live wallpapers and set them as such that I know of.

Also, you’re complaining about how much the complaints of others bother you.

I couldn't agree more. That's why I only did 1 single review that was more of a comparison between what we have NOW and what's coming next in iOS 11. It is pretty darn stupid to create a new video review every time there's a minor icon, font change.

I get your sentiment, but it’s all very relative to you. One of the overall objective of the betas is to point out changes and bugs throughout the beta process. There are many mediums of which this can be achieved. If I were to apply your logic, then the forums (including this one) are pointless.

Totally! Sorry if I came across too strong with my opinions. For sure one thing I like to know is what bugs has been fix and if there's new ones, been a developer myself. I was just pointing out those video review were they go crazy because of an icon or font was changed. Anything else is worth noticing, like features been taken out on the latest betas.

They do it for the money. $$$$ for a video

As a person interested in design I like to know what’s changed regardless of you finding it interesting or not.

Well you see, that makes sense too. If I was a designer, I would find that important to know. This is good feedback!
There’s something for everyone. Nevertheless I have to concede that sometimes the attention to the minimal things is too much. Some people would like to know what’s new without all that and focus on the functionality and that’s fine too.

iOS 11 seems to be ready for the daily use. Except for the P2P - which will be part of the GM - and iMessage in the Cloud - everything else is fine for me. Beta 7 will be the last prior the GM.

It is fine except for the lags here and there, especially when swiping up with control centre in some apps. There’s still those *du-duh* jittery performance issues around the OS still. Do you know if the GM is when they focus more on this? I read here somewhere that the GM is when performance is brought back to normal levels.
