He is referring to beta 3. If they release DP 2 this week, they would need a new DP for next week with the PB. Meaning beta 2->3 would only be 1 week.It HAS been two weeks - to the day. B1 was released June 5....

Please today, if there is a god.
Deliver us from the pain of no beta 2
2 days.I find this helpful:

All Developer Beta 2's came out within 15 days from Beta 1, aside for iOS 10 (22 days) and iOS 5 (18 days).
Does anyone know the date range between iOS 10 Developer Beta 2 and iOS 10 Public Beta 1?

Thats exactly why nothing is coming out today.Makes me nervous that they will hold it back until next Monday/Tuesday then.
Based on the fact "Late" usually means last week of the month, and there typically only being a 2 day lag time between DP and PB.
21st is not late of a month, at least not in Apple's definition. I've said this at least 5 times thus far. Look through Apple's software and hardware history. When they say "late" It means the last possible week.It is equally likely today as next Tuesday. "Late" June is still tomorrow tomorrow or Thursday for PB 1; unless someone the 21/22nd of the month is not "late" in the month.
The only OS with longer than a 15 day beta 1 in recent years as been 10.0 (since 8.2)
I agree with everything you said. Fixed that last sentence for you.Last year threw the math off. Until last year, anything more than 15 days was some weird one off that hadn't happened for a long time. The iOS 5.0 B1 was an 18 day cycle.
Last year was the first year b1 was 22 days AND had a PB released soon after b2. The question this year was: was least year a weird statistical aberration, or the new norm? Given Apple said a public beta "late June" and that "late June" by most people's estimations is the last week of June (and the fact that the last week in June is also a full week, and not some partial week where the 30th is a Wednesday or something), it's more likely than not that the new cycle is a 3 week beta 1 followed by a PB a few days after B2.
Which means Apple will release B2 today just to mess with us.
Why? Why believe its coming when by Apple's own words the chances are slim to none at best. There is still hope guys, don't be sad already, just wait and see the magic (maybe)

That has happened a dozen times in the last couple of years. If not more.Because Apple may surprise us, think about yesterday's mac os beta which break the rules...there was no IOS version released as well...
Well in all fairness when it's the only clue given by Apple. It's the only thing you have to analyze. Then on top of that, Apple has set precedent to what "late" of a month means.I'm pretty amused at the way some of you are deeply analyzing the phase "late June", trying to assign some sort of meaning to it (full week vs. partial week, what "most people" think, etc.). Late June pretty much just means sometime between now and July 1st. :-D
The phrase "late June" is getting more scrutiny than the Zapruder film...
Very annoying bugs are not the same thing as an unstable or unusable device. Remember this is meant for developers to test apps. I am willing to bet at least 50% of the people here are only playing around with the beta and are not developers. Also, the fact that has some bugs that are very annoying are present may also lead to today's release, I just watched people complaining on this section on the forum...
If it were released today it would be in an hour and a half.We got less than half and hour, let's wait and see what happens then
