iOS 12.1.1 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I have various things reappear, notifications, voice mails, messages, etc. after some restarts. I'm not using betas on my phone. I think that proves that nothing is ever truly "deleted" from these devices. Just temporarily hidden for some future reappearance.
I rebooted my phone a couple times and it finally gave me VVM back. You can also try calling and leaving a voicemail from another phone to see if it will activate it.
I seem to be doing okay, based in the US on Verizon.
Funny thing is, before all of these reception and data issues came about: I received my XS just before an international trip, and used it extensively there. Compared to two travel companions (using an X and a 7), my GPS tracking was horribly inconsistent. Signal penetration indoors was too. I just thought I was stuck on bad towers at the time.
Gosh I hope this beta fixes my battery or the ability of the phone to calibrate the battery. I know I am only at 87% battery health, but it’s ridiculous. I can watch the SE battery go from 50% to 20% in about two hours of light browsing, screen brightness way down and everything else off. Wasn’t like this before that previous beta..
So after updating to 12.1.1 beta 2, I use Facebook via web browser edge chrome Firefox doesn’t matter, I get a lot of blank pages that won’t load? Not sure if beta 2 issues Facebook or recent updates to the browsers apps! But I would think it’s a iOS issue cause all browser cannot hVe the same issue! I don’t have this problem on my computer at all! Anyone else use Facebook via browser and noticed some pages won’t load and come up blank?

T-Mobile? They have had voicemail issues for years now, and reboots usually cause them to appear.
Yep, definitely not new to iOS 12.1.1, and it's the reason I still carry a Spectrum Mobile line for business use.

It’s really only noticeable on the first 2 rows and the far left/right of the remaining rows. Usually the foreground covers the actual space you’re seeing, but it behaves the same way.
I never payed much attention so not sure when it actually began, though I’d guess its always been like this.

Intermittent choppy scrolling when using safari. There is no rhyme or reason to it and reboots haven’t stopped it
Had a major failure yesterday using iMessage. I had sent a message containing a picture. I clicked the symbol to get back to the keyboard and the phone froze and the screen went black apart from the home bar at the bottom. Which was a dark grey. I thought I’d accidentally opened the camera from iMessage.
Nothing I did would stop it. I tried swiping up, pressing power button, trying the button combo to force reboot, plugging into iTunes. But nothing would work.
It took nearly 20mins for the phone to respring. It has been ok since.
No idea why any of this has happened as nothing has changed on the phone app or setting wise and I updated from the .ipsw not OTA.

Since beta 2 my iCloud backup hasn’t worked. (Auto backup) it seems my email stopped too, when I took my phone off the charger I wasn’t on wifi, as soon as it connected to wifi I started to get emails from when I connected my phone to the charger.

This update broke volte on my Sprint XS Max. The option is still there but it shuts off LTE as soon as I make a call.
Beta was running horribly on my XR. Downgraded to 16B94 and everything is smooth again.
My biggest issue with the beta was with the screen. It seemed like something was off (with text sizes, blurriness, and colors). Additionally my cellular was acting up and dropping service even though I had bars.
The haptic touch was a nice addition, but I don't think the beta is mature enough for the XR.

So, something crazy just happened. I’m in Georgia, at about 1:10 ET, my phone froze completely and I had to force restart. I texted my buddy who lives in Vegas about it because he runs the betas too. His phone did the exact same thing at the same time.
