I'm coming from iOS 12.1.1 Beta 3 on my XS Max, why is this now 2.77 Gb install? Weird
Because B3 is the same build as this release. Remember the release notes are for non-beta users coming from the previous iOS version. (not previous betas)I think they were actually able to flip the switch server-side for the new carriers. Swisscom, for example, showed up as a certified eSIM on beta 3 already starting today, but it didn't until a couple of weeks ago. So the release notes are probably "incorrect" regarding eSIM, as it's just coincidental.
Seems in the beta thread there were reports of better results for the X series devices so you are probably correct. Have not really tested myself as of yet though. (I never ran the betas on my XR).Has anyone noticed better cell reception on XR with 12.1.1? On 12.1 my XR was showing 3G and 3 bars. In the same location my iPhone 8 was showing 4G and 4 bars. Now on 12.1.1 the XR is showing 4G and 3 bars.
To keep an eye on stability and make a decision that it's the actual release version.2, almost 3 weeks to change what exactly? Interesting cycle with this version.
When will Apple fix this issue?
- On the home screen, scrolling to the second page, swiping up then holding the screen will cause the second page to disappear. Video: Here
Snappier than iOS 12.1.
Guys, chime in if you feel the battery is better. Too early for me to comment.

this has updated Modem Firmware 1.02.18 and some carriers update too. because of firmware update, wifi, LTE issue might have been addressed in final version.Same build as beta 3 isnt it just with out beta ending
