Does it fix the xsmax top speaker issue.
[doublepost=1539836679][/doublepost]Can apple run diagnostics on bugs if you call the apple care line? Or do we need to go into store?

Well if you shift/updated then you would not have had to restore a backup from iCloud. That was the point.
This has worked for me for years, but two phones just failed this going from 12.1B4 to 12.0.1 release, requiring a restore. They got stuck in a loop after choosing update and failed over and over. YMMV.

It doesn't work like that anymore. You either have to restore from backup or start fresh.

When finishing the call, you are shown a green bar at the top for a moment?
On iOS 11 this was not, is there any animation problem in iOS 12?
Most likely a bug, I have experienced it as well.
I see it when starting a call on iOS 12.0.1 so not just a beta bug
This bug has been around with Beta 1,2,and 3.

As I remember, from the first beta 12 I have a problem with it and I still have not fixed it ..
Who can report!

Ah. This may have been pointed out. I have a Verizon XS on 12.0.1. I have Carrier version 33.1. According to the first post it is 33.0.

For me, Xs Smart HDR is amazing! Love it. Works great. And i can tell when Smart HDR is active in a scene by seeing the shutter button spin for a split second. This was on 12.0.1.

Ever since i installed 12.1 (beta 3 & 4), smart HDR is not the same. It is as if my phone is doing REAL-TIME HDR on the screen. So, i do NOT see the shutter button spinning like before to denote Smart HDR processing at all...as i did with 12.0.1. Basically, i think that it is doing smart HDR instantly on the iphone screen...so, when i click shutter button, there is no lag or processing at all. Weird. I almost feel like that there is no smart HDR at all....but it is turned ON in setting...and what i see on display is controlled highlights etc.. Is it doing real-time smart HDR on the display itself so that when i click shutter button, it does not need to do any additional processing (thus no spinning shutter button)?? Odd feeling compared to 12.0.1.

It is clear that Apple is still fudging around with the smart HDR setting. At least from me testing it, the highlights are not as well controlled with Smart HDR as it was on 12.0.1...the highlights (bright spots) are not as toned down as before on 12.0.1.

Anyone else notice this? Sorry, no comparison picture to show what i mean.

I know this is probably definitely an old feature, but I just discovered it and thought it was so cool.

In the photos app, if you type in the name of a band, it’ll show you pictures from concerts you took of that band. I knew it could recognize date and venue, and even categorize photos in a concert setting, but I had no idea it could recognize specific concert events as well.

I just tried it. My phone has pictures I’ve taken of three different concerts/bands. It got one of the three. I agree this would be a really cool feature, but (at least for me) it’s not working consistently. Yet.

Yeah I guess it depends on what bands you see. It got all of them for me.

It also works for sporting events as well, this is neat!

I don't know if it's just me, but there's been an alarm clock bug since the release of iOS 12.

Setting the alarm clock tone to a song wakes me up to a generic sound instead of playing what I set.

I know I must sound like a broken record LOL but have you reported this?

But this isn’t Google Photos, it’s Apple Photos. No Google search at work there.

Yep, this. I think Apple, at least in certain areas, is aware of dates and times of particular events and then tags pictures, videos etc with the relevant information… ....I think?
