I've been trying to download pubic beta 4 since yesterday and it is just stuck at 4 minutes. I've rebooted, I've removed and reinstalled the beta profile. I've tried w/ automatic downloads on overnight - nothing seems to be working. Any suggestions on what be causing this or how to fix?

Getting the following when trying to check for updates within the watch app. Anyone else get this?

If someone could test something out, i'd appreciate it:

Go to an imessage thread with someone you share your location with. go to info, and try and scroll down to see all the "images" that have been sent. It is impossible to get anywhere near the bottom... every single swipe, it takes you right back to the top. I'm guessing it has to do with the location portion constantly trying to load location.

It's been an issue since before ios 12 and doesn't look like it's getting fixed anytime soon ugh. anyone else?
Same issue on my 7. If I scroll very slow, it works without jumping back to the top.

I thought my phone used to tell me the beta version I am on. Mine just says 12.1 now.

No, the main version info (on Software Update) will always display the main version (12.0, 12.1, etc...). To find out if you're on a beta, you'd actually need to go to the Settings>General>About page and find the Version (and then you would have to do a search on the build to see if its a beta or not).

Good info, thanks!

Has anybody been randomly losing cellular data on AT&T on an iPhone 7 with this beta? It’s been happening to me on my 7 with 12 and 12.0.1. The only way to temporarily fix has been to reboot. I see the carrier update is 34 so maybe it’s addressed. Just hoping they have fixed this. And I’m thinking of jumping on the beta train because of my problem. Thanks.

Should be able to download the ipsw and shift/update (Windows) and command/update (whatever it is), in Mac.
Oh, I did that and it turned out as disastrous as I knew it would.
My iCloud backup wouldn't restore because it is seen as "12.1".
I lost all of my music (which I knew would happen)
All of my Apple Pay got shredded so I have to set up again which means calling the bank a couple of times to verify.
I haven't even checked if CarPlay works, I sure hope so.

Anyone having issues with their apple watch messages not syncing in beta 4? I wasn't having this on beta 3 but now am in beta4.

Perhaps this existed prior but I just noticed this ..

IPP 12.9 G2
In iMessage in landscape typing using the on screen keyboard. This occurs whether using default or GBoard.
Attach ASK (Apple Smart Keyboard)
The on screen keyboard drops away, the iMessage right hand screen drops down to the bottom of the display
The list of messages on the left scrolls up pushing the person you are messaging off the top of the screen. Depending on the number of conversations, the top few may scroll off the top of the screen.

Under b4 I can get this to occur every time.

Or have some app (AIDA64 for example) that shows what version you have.

Well if you shift/updated then you would not have had to restore a backup from iCloud. That was the point.

I am having issues with the mobile data settings in 12.1 beta 4. No visible settings in the menu - settings, general, mobile. Screen is blank. Any ideas. I have sent feedback but no reply. Reinstalled 12.0.1 and it’s there. When I put 12.1 back on it’s gone. IPad Air

Can somebody with an iphone xs max confirm if this is working on this beta?

I just realized when im in certain apps. Google maps or phoenix 2 for example, the phone seems to be running in a low power mode when using a low brightness setting on the phone. Try being in google maps with a high brightness settings and moving around. Everythings smooth. Now try turning down your brightness level and you’ll see stuttering when moving around.

Apple watch messages barely syncing here. Some will, but for example, right now it has not synced with my phone since 9am. I've had this issue since beta 3. Also deleted threads does not delete on watch like they used to.
