I noticed my modem firmware on my iPhone XS Max has been updated to 1.01.30, which hopefully fixes the constant wifi hanging I had on beta 4.

So far so good for the WiFi on my max. Time will tell.

Anyone had the top speaker issue yet? I’ve not experienced it myself but have seen others report it.

Where it randomly turns off and sound only comes from the bottom speaker? I've had this issue a few times here and there but I'll be sure to keep an eye out on this during this beta.

News notifications are showing up again on my XS Max. Hopefully the text message forwarding is working.

As far as cellular fixes.. it’s to hard to tell. Sitting in the same spot pre-update to post update. I went from having 2 bars to full bars. Speedtest speeds are the exact same

This annoying issue still hasn't been fixed. Some apps like Google Maps and Clash Royale will lag on iPhone X and above. Open the affected app, for example Google Maps. Don't do anything else, just minimize your brightness to the lowest. Now, you will see the app's FPS number has been drastically decreased, try to do circles in the map, you will see it is laggy. To make it smooth again, you can start screen recording or increase brightness.

The way you place a call on speaker has been reverted to the way it was before 12.1 betas. Now, when on a call and you have an apple watch connected, you have to press the speaker button then choose the speaker from the available outputs like you apple watch. This makes me very sad.

Edit:
I was accidentally too close to my wife when she had her AirPods in so it was showing them as an available output. Once I moved away, all I had to do was press the speaker button.

ok so i've been having this issue the last 3 betas.
I can break instagram notifications.
I delete IG, close all apps & reset network settings before installing new beta update.
I install IG, press ok & allow notifications.
Then I go to IG notification settings on iOS and turn off sounds, badges, and banners.
This breaks notifications.
Now I can't get them to work again.
Tried deleting app, resetting network settings, clearing safari cache.
But I can'g get them to work again.
Until the next beta comes out and I do the initial steps.
I dk what to do.
Is this beta issue or IG?
Any way to delete all Instagram data so the download button in the app store goes back to the GET button instead of a cloud?
