Hey, since I installed iOS 12.1 on an iPhone 8, I've had WiFi and LTE data connection issues. When this happens, it appears as connected to WiFi, or 4G, but the connection doesn't work. Then I try to switch on/off both WiFi and data connections, even turning on the airplane mode, and nothing. Only a reboot of the iPhone 8 solves this issues.

Am I the only one with this connectivity problems? This didn't happen on iOS 11

Ok, so after 12.1 Siri is not responding after launching a shortcut.

Ex. I have a shortcut setup to launch Waze on the way to work and also my favorite playlist.

The shortcut executes flawlessly, but once I try to interact with Siri thereafter, she will not respond, no matter how loud or many times I say "hey Siri"

This is ANNOYING, so I definitely can't wait for 12.1.1 to drop!!!

On my X there is a "light" haptic feedback when i take a photo.

But also there is sometimes a haptic feedback when i close a app (swiping up). Another bug on 12.1...

Are you saying that the bug is that you get haptic feedback when closing an app? OR are you saying that the bug is that you get feedback inconsistently when closing an app?

Also my iPhone Storage (Settings->General->iPhone Storage) shows the wrong app sizes of some apps. For example WhatsApp it shows only the appsize (96MB or so) and not the "Documents and Data" (around 1,30 GB)...

That MAY not be a bug.

Data which developers have decided can easily be downloaded from other locations (such as developer servers), or data which developers consider less important (like your safari cache) can be specified by the developer as temporary storage. Such data would not be backed up when doing an "iCloud Backup". Examples of this are downloaded books on Kindle and Audible apps. Those books are never backed up onto or restored from an "iCloud Backup". (After a restore, I have to download them myself manually from Amazon's servers) For the Kindle and Audible apps that temporary data would typically be 99% of the apps total storage usage

In some cases, some (but not all kinds of) such temporary data can also be removed from the phone by apple when space is needed. They do take up space on your phone most of the time.

Its possible that Apple doesn't want to report this temporary data when showing storage, and also possible that your "missing" WhatsApp data has actually been legitimately marked as temporary storage by the developer.

I am having an issue where people call me, the phone never rings and, if I am lucky enough to be looking at the phone when this occurs, the call notification flashes on for about a half-second and then disappears. This has been happening while on wifi calling. I'm turning off wifi to see if that is the issue.

Anyone else?

Since this is not on a beta, I'll have to file a bug the ol' fashioned way!

iPhone XS Max and Tmobile WiFi calling ! When I call some there is like 30 second silence no ring no nada than it goes right into their Voice mail soon as I jump off wireless and use 4G LTE the phone rings and the person picks up the phone? Strange right?

I have a few blocked numbers that call it rings once and stops, all other versions of 12 and 11 this never happened, numbers that were blocked never “got through” not sure if the two are related.

Anyone else having notification issues? There are two people I've noticed I don't get notifications from. I only noticed because I got a third message from someone else that worked fine, and realised I had messages that were marked as read from two other people. Neither of them have DND applied. This only started yesterday.

Edit: Should note, this is now also happening on my iMac, so I don't actually know if this is an iOS issue.

I think the bug is that i sometimes get a haptic feedback when i closing a app. On iOS 11.xx and iOS 12.0x it wasnt the case. If the haptic feedback when closing a app is a new feature in iOS 12.1 so the bug is that i get it inconsistently : ) But i think it isnt a new feature in iOS 12.1. Haptic feedback only when closing the control center or opening the app switcher is normal i think…. The next update will fix it. On iOS 11.xx there was also a bug with a inconsistently feedback when closing the control center and the next version of iOS 11.xx fixed that.

Yes WhatsApp data is definitely in temporary storage or "other". I check someother iPhones... On some it shows also only the app size and on other iPhone the app size and the data (chats etc.)..

This may be an existing issue but something I have not noticed till recently.
I receive some calls on my 8+ (12.1) that do not show up on my Apple Watch (3 Nike GPS).
If the call on the 8+ shows the Decline / Accept options it will show on the watch. If it shows Slide to Answer it will not show on the Apple Watch.

Does anyone experince a bug with call ringtone going down when receiving a call?

iPhone xs max

Does it lower after you’ve looked at the phone? Attention aware features lower alarm volumes when you look at it, maybe the same happens for ringtones.

NOTIFICATION CENTER BUG

I keeping seeing an old email notification popping up in notification center despite clearing it a while ago.

In fact, the email is over 2 weeks old and long deleted yet it still keeps showing up.

iOS12 has been working great overall for me on my XR and my girlfriend's 6s/Mini 2. However I noticed (what I hope is) a bug when swiping the screen to quickly change open apps. It seems if I swipe one or two times from anything to go back to the Apollo Reddit app, the screen will kind of flicker black for half a second. Normally I'd say maybe it's a screen issue but I've only noticed it doing that when switching apps like that.

Does anyone else have this issue or know how to resolve it? Thanks.

Sometimes I cannot close the last app. It opens again or the app switcher crashes. Have this issue since iOS 10 or 11

I’ve had this happen a few times as well although not for as long as you have. I’ve noticed it most with apps that are using location like Uber or Maps
