I understand. Just got to train your self to ignore it. I’m guessing Apple doesn’t see it as a problem at all. It’s just micro seconds after a call so I wouldn’t worry on it.
They might know about it and see it as an issue, just a very low severity, and thus priority, one that is just there in the backlog somewhere until it gets prioritized to be worked on or someone gets to it for some other reason.

Exactly. I rather them focus on other bugs and improving battery life. Plus iOS 13 I’m sure is priority.

I'd rather fix the green bar error.
Because changing the icons in the control center is probably not a priority either :)

Three failed calls yesterday. XSMax. The call would be ok for 15-30 seconds, then “call failed”. Three times in one day. Haven’t had this issue for a few months. Now it’s back.

Sounds like two causes:

WiFi calling transition failing. Check to see if your calls start while on your call and your WiFi signal is low.

Second. Reset your network settings.

No issues with calls here. I’m on T-Mobile.

Was not on WiFi. I was outside. If I have the issue again, I’ll reset network settings. Although, doing so did nothing in prior months when many of us had issues with our Xs and XSMax.

Anyone manage to downgrade to 12.1.4 without losing the data?
Having strange issue on this beta, iPhone X stops charging randomly overnight, happened 3 times in last few days, even after making sure charger is working and number is increasing but in morning - no charge.

If you have an iOS 12.1.3 backup, you can use it to restore your data to a fresh load of 12.1.4.

Instructions on how to downgrade here:

Hi I was just wondering if this beta introduces some HomeKit automation issues for anyone using philips hue lights?

I installed the beta yesterday and this morning when I woke up a bunch of my automations for lights either weren’t working ie. turning on or performed light automations that were setup for a different room.

I went into the home app and noticed that all my motion sensors were put into the “default” room whereas I had them setup in the correct rooms with the corresponding lights for those motion sensors

I just wanted to confirm this before filing a big report

Yeah I know that, I meant using shift + update option with 12.1.4 IPSW. With same data.
I understand it is possible but might have issue with some apps and health data.
Probably better to wait for next beta.
Well, you need to do a restore for your data after a downgrade....and your Activity/Health data is replicated to Apple's cloud - so should be restored regardless once you sign in. Next beta should be soon. (likely next Tuesday at the latest).

I haven’t had any issues with my lights.

ECG only works on Apple Watch Series 4. Your 3 does not have the proper sensors.

You’ve already been told this doesn’t work in Saudi Arabia, in the thread you created the other day asking this exact same thing.

As I know it should work in any Apple Watch bought In US. Even If you travel It should Work. Correct me if i am wrong

Glad it wasn’t just me.

However I’ve gone for the nuclear option, I’ve restored back to iOS 12.1.4 now and set my phone up as new and had a massive declutter and things are working amazingly now.

Sometimes starting again from fresh is a good idea. I had lots of little bugs which I never knew about, like the fact that half my contacts saved to gmail and half to iCloud even though iCloud was the default account.

I guess spreading a backup over years worth of iPhones can introduce gremlins, so I’m glad I’ve done it now.

I must also resist temptation to hop back on the beta train, that can be one wild ride when things go wrong.

I also jumped off the beta due to iMessage problems and more and setup as new and my battery lasts and lasts and lasts ... heaps less issues too !

This really should be in the Apple Watch forums not here. But if the phone is a Watch 4 and really was purchased in the US, ECG should work even in other countries. That’s been reported as true many times.
