This really should be in the Apple Watch forums not here. But if the phone is a Watch 4 and really was purchased in the US, ECG should work even in other countries. That’s been reported as true many times.
Thank you, I post it here to ask if it work with IOS 12.2 beta or not.

As I know it should work in any Apple Watch bought In US. Even If you travel It should Work. Correct me if i am wrong

Are yes, my mistake, sorry.

If the video posted in your other topic doesn’t help and you’ve definitely set your watch and phone to United States location then the only other thing I can suggest is that you try routing through a VPN.

But as noted above this really isn’t the topic to discuss this.

No problem my brother. I just thought that maybe because i am ruining IOS 12.2 beta 2. even VPN did not work. The app appear in my Apple Watch but health app says the ECG app is not available in your country

If you’ve tried a VPN as well then maybe it is because this is a beta? I tried that video as well and didn’t get anywhere at all, possibly because my phone’s model number doesn’t end in LLA.

Anyway we better get back on topic

It might the region setting you selected during setup of your iPhone. The Apple Watch app controls the feature so if it’s seeing your iPhone region coded other than US. That might be why.

Also make sure your watch has the latest update itself.

Otherwise this beta hasn’t been a issue for my Watch.

This loosing all signal randomly bug still happening to me.

I don’t know what’s up. It happened 8 times today.

It just happened while I was typing this.

Then on certain days it would fine. I swear I’m the only one with the issue.

8 times in one day is ridiculous and I would be at the genius bar asking for a replacement. Happens to me once every couple days and a hard reset usually solves it for the couple days. Not sure if being on TMO makes a difference, but I'm on VZ. I would hold off until next beta and see if it improves, if not I'd say it's a hardware issue if it happens that often.

VZW announced they would not do this.
Honestly, I don't know how AT&T can get away with this without a lawsuit.
AT&T and Verizon are being sued by a law firm out of New Jersey in a class action lawsuit for shady practices. Read it for yourself. It’s not about fake 5G, but it shows you how sketchy they are.

Thanks. This is actually my second replacement. My first was having Bluetooth and WiFi issues after some time. Plus this issue. This replacement took a while before it started happening. I had to go beta however cause battery life and this bug which I thought would be fixed by now. So far battery life still terrible with my phone getting warm randomly sometimes.

Yeah 8 times is a lot. This is the most in one day I’ve had it occurred. Frankly it happened two more times after I posted that. And just like you it will be stable for a few days. I did a network reset shortly after and so far it hasn’t happened since.

Either way since you’re on Verizon and have seen the issue. I agree it’s software now. So just a matter of time. I already reported to Apple, just curious if I should do another report.

Ok guys see if it’s just me but when I start a timer in the clock app then lock the iPhone 7 Plus or my iPad Air 2 running this latest beta the timer does not show remaining time left.

I use timers a lot and always glance at lock screen so this is a much bigger deal to me that missing the date.

Not sure if these are intended changes or bugs at this stage.

so, am not the only one. i've tried every trick i can google (or think of) and... no timer on the lock screen. guess the next beta will sort this out....

I had the same problem with my iPhone XS Max. After upgraded to 12.2 b2 it became more often and really annoying . Changed my iPhone under Apple Care.

I’m on 12.1.4 now, one week and zero disconnections.

My opinion that 1500 $ device should be better quality.

I want add I was testing big 4 to choose better provider and I had less disconnections with Att/ T-mobile and more with VZW/Sprint.

what is it about betas that people don't understand? why would anyone (unless they're curious, and/or willing to risk issues... like myself, lol) install a beta on a device they depend on? then whine about it not working correctly?

let's check apple's own dictionary: beta, leads to

'beta test': a trial of machinery, software, or other products, in the final stages of its development, carried out by a party unconnected with its development.

Yep. I agree on that. It’s like Apple lost hope or something. I guess this is why there are rumors of them working on their own modem. Intel is bad.

I had a similar experience after I got my replacement and thought it was good. On the second week it happened once and I’m like damn. Now I’m back on betas. This seems to be software since it started with 12.1. Either way. It’s hasn’t happened in 3 days for me. So looks like there is some sort of a pattern to it. I sent a long feedback to Apple yesterday along with modem baseband logs.

Yep I’m seeing the same. They happen randomly. Even on the stable version.

This happened on the stable version too. I actually came back to betas after 2 weeks with my replacement to see if it fixed it along with battery life and stuttering or random slow downs.

Before you condemn Apple, do remember that you were running a beta. Pretty much anything is fair game.

Has anyone else seen this new iMessage bubble?

I’ve only encountered it twice and both times were in iMessage, not quick reply. It’s animated and the bubbles fill in like you’re taking a Scantron test, lol.

It's been a while since I last saw it, but isn't that the icon that indicates the other person is using handwriting to write a message?

Anyone else frequently not getting notified of incoming messages? I open Messages and find missed messages from days ago that never had a notification or badge...
