The lightning to sd cardreader makes my 2 iPhone XS reboot on iOS 12.1.4.
Has it been fixed? I am traveling soon and I need it
This is the 12.2 beta 3 thread. You need to post this over at the 12.1.4 thread

Why do i get an firmware update notification every time i unlock my iphone 6S on iOS 12.1.1 beta 3? I have installed the TVos12 profile. It the first time i install a beta version. I have not a downloaded firmware OTA file on the phone.
Probably because you are several versions behind.

Yes but shouldn´t the TVos profile stop these messages, i thought that was the whole idea of that profile on an iphone? And do other people get that as well?

Good point. We don’t know. This isn’t the thread for it.

Oh okay then i posted wrong. I guess i have to repeat my question in the correct thread.

Anyone else having problems with twitter media loading? The tweet text loads, but media and thumbnails don't load at all for me...

I'm not understanding you: what does a tvOS profile have to do with getting notifications about an available iOS update?

Something like the tvOS profile would prevent the device from successfully checking for updates so there shouldn't be any indication of a new update being available (let alone automatically downloaded).

I started the day thinking my iPhone XS Max would be dead around 6-8pm since I woke up this morning at 95%. This is after leaving it overnight after unplugging at 11:57pm. 24hours later with average to heavy use and I got 16% left. Happy to see battery life is finally normal again.

I also had a hour of music listening and 26mins of music streaming via Bluetooth. As well as sending a few large attachments.

I am really impressed on Batt. Life in this beta, almost go 2 days before charging depending on my usage!

Have you noticed that since the first beta ios 12.2 the test results in antutu are much weaker? :(
See on the channel:

Does any of you in here are using this beta on a low end device? I don’t know if that’s an iOS 12.1.4 specific problem, but safari, in my iPad Air 2, struggles to stay open. Like, with a regular app, when I switch to other 3 different apps and then I comeback to the first one, it is still opened, but not with safari. It reloads everytime! Is it possible to be a ram management issue only with safari?

Anyone uses Philip hue lights with HomeKit ever see this happen? Where HomeKit randomly looses connection and says updating or no response? Even though other home devices like Google Home can control the same lights just fine.

I thought this beta fixed it but seeing the issue again I use my Apple TV as an hub. So I’m wondering if I’m alone here.

Yes, I seem to be having random memory management issues in different apps (including in Safari) on this beta on my iPad Mini 4 and on my iPhone 8 Plus.

I am not on the current beta, so I'm not sure how relevant my response is, but I see this all the time. I usually have to toggle airplane mode on/off and then it usually resolves the issue.

I did have a few times when it would happen so frequently that I would have to either restart my HUE hub OR actually go into the HUE settings and change the band they were on. Which usually resolved the issue.

I came home yesterday in the evening and had %72 battery left. Gone to sleep and still %62 (activated flight mode and low battery mode over night), woke up with %59. And now at 15:29 o clock I still have %43. This remembers me my great battery life times with my old 6s Plus. Amazing. I’m very happy with the beta. Usually I’m always charging my battery over night with the original 5W charger.

I avoid HomeKit whenever I can. If for whatever reason Alexa refuses to follow my commands, I'll go into the Hue app to control them. When I was trying to consolidate everything into HomeKit, I saw this all the time. HomeKit can't even manage to stay connected to my Apple gear (HomePods, Apple TVs).

I had some issues earlier in the year where I constantly had to unplug the Hue bridge (even though I believe it was a HomeKit issue, not a bridge issue) and then that stopped with some version of iOS. No issues with the last two betas until the current one and I’m getting no response quite often again.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this, as it’s not specific to Beta 3...

...but how come there’s always been a slight half-second delay when waking the phone, where the lock screen wallpaper appears black and then quickly switches to whatever image you’ve set for the wallpaper?

Anyone know what I’m talking about? It doesn’t seem as noticeable if you use an actual photo that you’ve taken as your lock screen wallpaper, but if you use a screen shot or a sold color image that you’ve saved, it makes waking the phone look very glaring and ugly.

This happened on my iPhone X as well as my XS.

Found a bug.

I’ve got a few notifications from Tweetbot or Telegram. I see the notification and the same time the volume hub. My iPhone is always muted and I see the volume hub with level 1.
