There’s a new animation when ending a call and starting one, which also shows the carrier name right before.

Can you show this new animation? For me it's the same as it was on IP7

Agreed, 12.1.4 was buggy as hell on my XS. I just updated to this 12.2 beta version and everything seems so much more fluid now.

Do it so far it's so stable and a lot smoother, everything from unlocking and normal usage, the 12.2 will be a great release

I'm done with beta testing. But the one thing that I remember from testing iOS 11, betas were always better and smoother than the released versions. LOL.

For anyone wondering, and I’m sure it’s not many people, this beta seems to have fixed the issue where 4+ minute audio recordings sent via the Messages app wouldn’t get delivered. I send myself a 5-minute message and it worked fine.

So far this beta feels great.

Face ID unlock on XS max is so much quicker back to the first iOS 12 speed, it unlocks instant now instead of the delay, can anyone else confirm?

I meant on my main daily driver but I have 3 devices so I always try it on others but after using it I might use it as a daily driver as it seems a lot quicker and smoother

Apple must think no need for the split keyboard at the bottom of the iPad. More mid screen, as you’re holding it (wrong, jk) 12.1.4 iPad 9.7 pro is the same way when split is turned on. Do you want the split or full keyboard? If not hold down on the keyboard icon, lower right and hit merge.

That’s the thing though. It’s turned off. I reset all settings. Went away but came back not long after. If I have to DFU, that’s what I’ll end up doing.

I didn’t do a hard restart after installing this beta. Just did that and it’s back. ‍♂️
