I dunno man... I feel like "time and date" makes more sense than "time and battery percentage". Seems like putting a percentage in the status bar would make more sense.

Just me? Maybe.

Ideally it should be the info that is most relevant or useful to the individual... Which is why Apple should provide a choice to customize the information displayed... But we all know that providing choice is not really Apple's strong suit.

Same here... I don't know about you guys but I usually know what day it is lol... I don't need a constant reminder on my lockscreen. I was really hoping the charge level on lockscreen was a change and not a bug... oh well.

oh thank goodness, without that constant reminder on the lockscreen how else would we know what day it is?

It had more to do with it being written „charged“ on my to german set iPhone. Looked out of place

Is in the betas of iOS 12.2 a new behaviour with the „Music Player“ on the lockscreen?
After i stoped the music in the app, it still shows the player on the lock screen.
‍I hope it is a bug.
Same problem with Spotify.

Has this ever worked correctly in iOS 12?

As it is now, the music player remains on the lock screen after the music is paused, but after a few new messages come through it disappears.

Didn’t work on beta 2 but worked fine on 12.1.4.

I actually prefer it to stay on the lockscreen for a small amount of time and I thought it was a feature. If you have to pause your music quickly, you can do it from the lockscreen, and then play again without having to unlock, go into music, and do it there. It usually disappears after a little bit of time, or like you said, when notifications start coming through.

Yeah that’s how I thought it was meant to be: stays on screen for a bit (I guess to make sure you just wanted to quickly pause, not indefinitely). Been like this for awhile so I assumed that was the correct behavior.

I was gonna mention that in my original post - I sort of thought it was a feature, too.

Downloading now. Can’t wait to leave the 12.1.4.

Ok. Downloaded it. It feels good. A bit laggy in the settings app but it’s better than before. But no changes at the cellular network. Weak as ever.

Same problem with Spotify.

This is not a problem. It disappears after a hour. It doesn’t stay on the lock screen. Normal iOS behavior. It allows you to resume the playing if needed. If you are ocd about it. Close the app. Then it will disappear right away.

Right now. The real problem now is Spotify is back to not resuming where you left off after a few hours or days. So annoying. It was working last beta finally.

Imagine playing a album or playlist and you’re half done. Realized you got to go handle something and you hit pause. Come back. Few hours later. The app is closed, no problem. Open it. The app acts like you just woke up. Now you have to start over. Same thing, days later and you’re trying to remember the song you left off at.

Doesn’t happen on Apple Music, Tidal and Play Music. Like. Basic common sense. Funny thing is Spotify on the Desktop resumes fine.

Can anyone please point me to how or where I can have my iPhone6+ currently on 12.1.4 to be in the beta program? Thanks.
