iOS 12.2 Beta 5 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I’m on EE in the UK running beta 5 and noticed I’m never getting wifi calling. Anyone else got the same issue?

Gotta say, this beta feels great and having great battery life on XS.
I had Bluetooth issues starting in b4 but it turned out it was a hardware issue and had my phone replaced. I have no complaints now.

Maybe something on Google’s end? I noticed this morning my Gmail app had reverted back to the old interface for some reason. Kicked me out and I had to sign back in, but it seems to working correctly now.

You probably need to generate an app password on Google’s side, then enter that as your password on the phone.

How can I disable the spell check on my iPhone? I'm using SwiftKey and iOS always thinks I'm writing in english. Found some settings in the keyboard settings but it didn't work. I always see the red dots.

I’m still having that black screen bug that’s been around ever since I bought my XS. The screen would go black and unresponsive for several minutes, and sometimes I’d have to restart it.

Had this yesterday. Nothing would work, no buttons, no reset, not charging. Left it for 5 minutes and came back on. Piss poor.

I take it back. Still randomly loose signal. I was making a WhatsApp call in a full signal area. Then it randomly disappear for 30 seconds and came back. Caught it coming back:

Yep, issues still here on my XS Max too. It's hardware. Piss poor. Again.

Having random disconnects with Apple CarPlay. It’s kinda hard to say if it’s because of the apple smart battery case or not. It definitely happens less without the case

I had that issue yesterday also. My wife just had the issue a few minutes ago. Annoying.

This has happened to you on 12.2 as well? Are you using eSIM? What solves the issue for you? Quickly toggling Airplane mode? Has a reset of network settings helped?

Yeah 12.2 Beta 1 and onward.. no e-sim. I usually just toggle airplane mode and it starts working again. I tried to reset network on each beta with no luck. With this current beta I've had it happen 2 times which is much better than it was.
