Yes, it's a new bug introduced in Beta 3.

I wonder if it has anything to do with modem version on your wireless carrier. Assuming the iPads are also a cellular model. Might have some bearing, but perhaps not. I have gotten to always restarting devices when a new version is installed for that very reason. I do miss the days of old where Jobs ran the show and people didn't bother messing around as evident today in how many software slip ups they have had under Cook. The devs aren't as clear minded, focused, or whatever you wish to call it.

Every time I get to the ‘c’ in Mac, it crashes.

Turn off "Search Engine Suggestions" in Safari settings and it doesn't crash anymore. The bug has something to do with that.

UPDATE: It's "Search Engine Suggestions" causing the crash with Google selected. Change search providers and it won't crash.

Good catch. That explains why it was crashing on my iPad, and not on my iPhone XS. (Had Google as search engine on iPad still)

Normally I'd agree with you on this, however, the level of stability that existed in 12.2 final release was so much less stable than the betas it wasn't even close to funny. I wish the HomePods could get on betas but sadly they cannot. I've lost a lot of confidence in Apple software stability in the last 5 weeks following the 12.2 public release and dealing with their support staff in whole.

I’m right there with you. iOS 12 is an improvement over 11 but the final release of iOS 12.2 drained my battery much faster than the betas. The settings bug also came back. With iOS 12.3 beta 1, things were back to where they should be. Beta 2 has been phenomenal. Unsure of beta 3 since I haven’t downloaded and installed it yet.

Not sure if this is new or has been mentioned yet, but I'm getting Siri Suggestions related to the new TV app. Never seen that before.

The Music app has been freezing a lot since downloading this beta. Basically locks up to the point that you have to force quit and reopen it.

Good catch! I tested on iPhone XS, iPhone X and iPad Pro 11". Safari crashed on all when search engine set to Google. Changing to DuckDuckGo (my preferred search engine these days) corrects the issue. What are you up to Google?

Indeed same exact result here. What a pain in the ass bug!

Clearly the developers don’t read Macrumors. LOL
