Except that doesn't really have a lot to do with it. More with how much code they change working on other items or new features or changes made is what requires more commits (a,b,c,d,etc). In later builds is when you see lower number of commits (a,b) typically because of code freeze. Doesn't really mean a build is bad or good relative to how many rev's there were of it though.
But the alphanumeric characters at the end of the build are QA iterations. What you are talking about is the number part before that (build). When a version ends with „a“ it passed QA on the first try, „e“ means it took 5 tries with 4 „bug fix iterations“. Has nothing to do with features being pushed in, the build is already locked.

Just here to add to the statistics:

XsMax, google as search engine and suggestions are on: no crashing when manually typing in addresses in Safari

Is this Safari new feature?

I have a problem on my new iPhone XS Max that I bought three weeks ago. When I wake up my phone with slide button, or “tap to wake” or “rase to wake” features, some times my phone doesn’t open and screen remains black but my phone is on, I can open apps and I’m listening sounds (but screen is black). To open my screen when this happening, I need to press slide button (then I’m hearing sound that phone closed) and press it again (display wake up). Then screen opens and image are showing on screen. Hard reset its not necessary because with 2 press on slide button it open. What’s the problem? This happening about 1-3 times a day. I send it to apple and they didnt find any hardware problem. Is this a bug that may fixed in ios 12.3? Anyone has the same issue?

My Girlfriend (Xs, Public 12.2 release) and I (X) have a weird Bug: whenever the phone gets disconnected from CarPlay and we lock the screen, the last song played starts to play through the iPhone speaker. Only solution is to closed Music/Spotify. Pausing the song doesn‘t solved the issue.

Can anyone confirm this is still happening in this version?

Wrong thread and hello to you too.

How so? They are asking if anyone has encountered this bug on this beta.

Because he’s posted in the correct forum now (duplicate post)...I think...

I’ve asked on his OP thread which iOS he’s referring to.

Still think a hello would be polite though!

Edit: he’s on iOS 12.2 but did try iOS 12.3 beta with the same issue

Charged up my XS Max last night, haven’t touched it since and 14 hours later still 100% charge. Standby has improved in this beta for me. iPad performance seems improved and except for Safari crashing with Google as default search engine, everything seems pretty good. I just switched to DuckDuckGo for now.
