So I just sent my friend a text message, and it did not notify me that it was delivered. A few mins later it automatically was sent as a SMS. Now iMessage is not working at all

Edit: Nevermind, now it’s working

Been having this issue on and off. It's killing me because I have to text a LOT for work and need messages to send the first time and for people to be able to get ahold of me

On my 7, 12.4 beta 2 definitely feels overall more responsive and smoother than 12.3. Not sure if it’s a memory management thing or what, but things just seem like they don’t need to reload as much (like apps, contact photos in messages etc.)

Watch this

How is that even considered a speed test. That guy waits for stuff like video previews or ads to load? Should‘ve tabbed out immediately after the app was loaded and responsive, instead of introducing a network latency variable to his test. Pretty random.

I agree with the YT guy, all those are important parts of a speed test if the same Wifi is used.

Right?? „Speedtest“ :D:D:D

No it isn‘t. There is more to data speed than the same wifi. What if other processes hog up the speed, what if his MBP decides to bog down his net by downloading updates, what if his ISP ***** the bed at the very second one of the tests is recorded, what if YT ***** the bed.

This is SO not a speed test, should‘ve used offline only apps.

I agree, this kind of "speedtest" is completely ******** and doesn't demonstrate anything.
It's just a way to get "clicks" on YT.
There are so many parameters that can influence the result (network, tester, background tasks ...)

Maybe it could be interesting if you run it twenty times ...

Run it 20 times, with the operator running the test blind to which one is on which version of the software. Otherwise operator bias can play a role too. Then run a statistical analysis to determine if there is any true difference.

Has anyone else had this issue? It keeps happening. I’ve rebooted and it still happens.

I still don’t understand how they couldn’t manage to fix the settings app...

100% agree. That drives me nuts; often it needs a force quit.

Particularly irritating because my Airpods often disappear from the shortlist in the Phone and Control Center and I need to open settings and tap connect. IOS is becoming as ****** as Apple's "Pro" Macbooks.

Almost, but not quite, as bad as the Windows phone I had in ~2004 which would randomly reboot upon picking up a call. Perhaps Apple has that feature waiting for us in IOS 13.

Looks like he's talking about the keyboard app tray being visible within the messages archive. On 12.3 this doesn't happen so unless that's a new thing in 12.4 it looks like he is having some issue.
That's great, but other users should not have to read the tea leaves to see what someone is saying is an issue. Even circling it in red would have been more helpful. If you take the time to post here about something, take the few seconds more it takes to do it properly.
