Can anyone confirm connection sharing is gone ?
I’m actually quite happy with this beta but connection sharing is something i really need.
If I search for it in settings it appears to be there but the search result just directs me to phone settings ...
Thanks !

just for the record : I reset network settings and network sharing / personal hotspot reappeared in settings.
Mind you that this will also kill any custom certificate you have installed for your mail or vpn.

Thanks

Having issues making phone calls this morning. Had to restart phone to get calls to go through.

All devices work really well with iOS 12 beta 1:

iPhone X
iPad Pro 10.5 Cellular + Wi-Fi
iPhone SE

Performance is outstanding. A few bugs here and there but doesn’t bother me one bit.

Same here. Wi-Fi calling was turned off for some reason. Enabled it in settings and would not activate. Wi-Fi wouldn’t connect either. Had to do a restart and everything was fine.

Also having Siri activate without any verbal or tactile request. Its really annoying to have “Sorry, I am having trouble with the connection” in a muffled voice coming from your shirt pocket every 20 minutes!

Nothing changed here too :)

Lots of issues so I'm fine going back to another phone until the next beta update. Battery life is pretty poor, personal tones don't work and randomly change once set. I can't ever tell whos calling/texting without looking and when im busy thats inconvenient ,other stuff as well, I'll give it another shot later.

A restart seems to have fixed this for me. My fellow employees are appreciative!

You can try this one. The 1st one was whats on my iPad mini 4 and displays fine. Don't really have a hi-res version and cant remember where I got this from initially. Been a while.

What is the correct procedure to "reboot" Messages in the Cloud? Mine stopped syncing some time later after installing. I reinstalled the OS to no avail. Can't seem to get the syncing back on track in both macOS and iOS. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Did battery standby/usage disappear? I can't find it anymore. I like seeing what my battery standby is, or maybe I am missing where it is located now.

how long have you given it? It takes hours upon hours for messages to sync

Any one figure out a way to see the battery usage since last full recharge without a need to add each hour on the graph?

To sync completely, or to even begin syncing?

When I first installed a fresh iOS 12 install, the sync was rather blazing fast, enough to surprise me happily. Now, what is going on is that when I receive a text message, it does not get synced up between devices.

The initial sink on my phone which has a ton of text video and images probably took around 12 hours to upload and then it takes time for your other devices to download the material

Wallpaper bug. If I add this image using the photos app, and save as wallpaper, the graphic is completely screwed up on the lock screen. If I add the same image using the wallpaper setting, it views perfectly on the lock screen.

3D Touch menus are very opaque with bright/light wallpapers, on iPhone X. Hard to see words/letter until you rollover the line item b/c the text is transparent, to whatever wallpaper you have. Black wallpapers most definitely make 3D Touch menus pop, haha.
