I have noticed a visual bug. When you double tap for Reachability in any app the blurred background does not show the desktop icons whereas on ios 11 they do.

Or perhaps a change in design/behavior.

I wish Apple would rename the ‘System’ storage to ‘Cache’ because that’s what it is.

Anyone that doesn’t believe me look at the size of your system storage then in an app that supports it such as Twitter or Tapatalk delete your cache and then check system size again, it will be smaller.
Don't those cache numbers for different apps get reported as part of the storage that the app takes up, rather than system?

In the intitial iOS 11 betas the background did not have the icons either. It's a bug. It inconsistent because when you double tap for app switcher, they are visible in the background. When you launch an app they fade into the background and should be visible.

Do you understand the concept of betas?

If they had everything working as expected, it wouldn't be a beta. It would be a release.

So yeah, if it is a bug, if there are inconsistencies, doesn't matter. There are bigger issues to attend to, before coming to polish the minor inconsistencies that generate so much heat here I wonder if they might also be behind global warming to some extent.

And remember we are at beta 1. Why fuss up over it as if hell broke loose? If your phone stopped working, if you aren't able to make calls, then that is a serious bug, which again, would be cut some slack because of the beta tag. Come on, man. Enough with the exasperation of it.

Yeah it doesn’t bother me.I just reported it.

Weather location services have to be set to “Always On” in order for the DnD/Bedtime widget to appear.

Unless I have a bug that’s not true.

So, I was struggling with the new Do Not Disturb feature. I love the new option where you can add the dimmed screen (Bedtime-modus) option, however when I'm on the weekends I don't want to have this turned on.

I just figured that this option is also under the Bedtime options within the Clock app.

I think it’s you who doesn’t understand what a beta is. A beta is put out to discover the bugs in it. I don’t know why you’d go off on one for someone discussing a bug

My iPhone Settings -> General -> iPhone Storage -> System shows 23.11 GB and rising.
Don't know why.
Any has this issue?

Mine is 11.39 but I don’t use messages in cloud and think this is the cause for very high amounts if you have lots of videos and photos !

My system is only 10.11GB but I don’t have a ton of apps and stuff on my phone anymore either so that’s probably why. I started over fresh not too long ago. My battery health also went from 99% to 100% after iOS 12. Definitely not complaining! ;)

Do you you messages in iCloud ? If not I think that’s why it’s small in size like mine ( 11 gb )

Just a side not to previous answers the profiles are not unique. It is one profile downloaded from the dev sites. They are only unique between versions. Currently I have the iOS 11 beta profile installed which means I only get iOS 11 betas. I am on 11.4.1 beta 1. If I wanted 12 I uninstalled 11 and install the 12 beta profile. But this is the same file all other devs would install.

Same with MacOS and WatchOS.
Best to pay the $99 for developer account. Downloading certificates from unknown web sites can be dangerous especially if you’re using the beta on your primary device!

The beta has been working so well on my iPhone I decided to install on my iPad Pro. Bad idea. Buggy mess. Especially screen time. Had to revert back.

So anyone that has Pandora broken get it fixed yet? It started on the final release of 11.4 and still doesn't work with 12. It will run if I turn off WiFi which is weird. When Wifi is on and I start it a message shows "Cannot Connect to Internet". I have tried all my networks at home and at work. All doing the same thing. Driving me nuts. Tried re-installing and that does not work either.

Thanks for reporting that I am not alone. Thank goodness Spotify still works, though.

Yeah...this sucks big time. I always listen to Pandora while at home in the shower and it doesn't work. Can't believe they haven't figured this out yet.

One of the few bugs I've hit since installing: every time I get in the car and my phone connects to my head unit, it reverts back to the Music app even though I only listen to Pandora. It's the same song every time too. Also, when I got out of my car (after having switched back to Pandora for the drive to work), when I got to my desk and pulled my phone out of my pocket the Now Playing widget showed that same song from Music again.

Can some explain how this works? I have Bedtime set up as well as DND and I don't see this when I turn off my alarm. Does DND have to be scheduled to deactivate before your alarm goes off?
