thanks guys. I forgot to ask about outlook mobile and skype for business if anyone sues that. Company recently migrated to office 365 so kinda need those 2. I figure quite a few people probably have outlook installed but less likely for skype for business

This should get better over time. Look at iOS 12 supporting all the way back to the 5s!

Wow, guessing the rumors that this was just a 'bug fix release for iOS11' were not exactly correct. Several new features and a TON of bugs in the initial beta listed. Before I get flamed, I know its beta, the point being if this was just a fix to iOS 11 chaos, then I would not expect such an extensive 'whats broken' list. So clearly this is a normal iOS release.

Some from an iPhone 7 - actually seems to be pretty smooth for a first beta (so far!)

Automatic updates under software updates seems to be new too.

This is good, as space is already limited on the screen and there's no need to take away information!

This is apparently the cellular strength indicator, and I'm betting its presence on non-cellular iPads is a bug.

Would you expect Beta 1 of a major OS release to not have bugs? iOS 12 is clearly a housekeeping release, but it's still a Beta 1.

I wonder how they will deal with the notch on iPad? Or will the bezels still be wide enough it won’t matter? Also if they’re bringing FaceID to iPad it needs to work when iPad is laying flat on a surface. If you have to hover over your iPad to unlock it that will suck.

The fact Apple has listed them all and they all have bug numbers means Apple is already working on them, possibly already fixed in house but didn't deem them important enough to block the first developer beta.
