The fact Apple has listed them all and they all have bug numbers means Apple is already working on them, possibly already fixed in house but didn't deem them important enough to block the first developer beta.
Certainly. If they are already aware then it appeared in their testing so they are addressing them as we post. To be clear, I am NOT complaining that there are bugs in a beta. Especially a beta 1. I added a disclaimer to my post knowing that the tough crowd here would jump all over it. I attempted to ward off that but i suppose I failed :) I thought my post was extremely clear. Oops.

So can we technically easily roll back to older versions now without losing data? AFAIK messages was the last thing that required a backup, they now are stored via Messages in iCloud.
Does that mean we can set up our devices as new after a restore (with iCloud Backup being inaccessible due to being tied to iOS 12 beta)? No progress should be lost because all of the features I can think of having CloudKit integration since iOS 11 (ok, voice memos will disappear).
App data should also populate with you downloading an app onto your device, or is it only apps that explicitly implement a form of CloudKit integration? Shouldn't be too painful for most apps because they store their data on their backend anyways (facebook, twitter etc) and some apps I use (like WhatsApp) offer custom iCloud backup solutions.

Could this be a breakthrough? Please correct me if I'm wrong (although I hope I'm not). A brave soul out there willing to try how much a fresh start actually pulls from iCloud?
Unless I missed something, I think you'll still lose health and activity data unless you did an encrypted backup.

I'm seeing the download for my X at 1.45GB others have said 2.6GB. Any ideas on this??

Is the Measure App missing for anyone else? I can find it through spotlight but I have searched every single page of my home screen multiple times and it is not showing up there.

For some reason it stuck Measure in the middle of my page 2 apps. Have you looked everywhere?

Wow, guessing the rumors that this was just a 'bug fix release for iOS11' were not exactly correct. Several new features and a TON of bugs in the initial beta listed. Before I get flamed, I know its beta, the point being if this was just a fix to iOS 11 chaos, then I would not expect such an extensive 'whats broken' list. So clearly this is a normal iOS release.
OK let me try again.
Wow this is a great release for a beta 1. The few issues in the 9 pages of known problems are all expected and welcomed. I am not surprised there are this many issues since its a beta 1 of a major release and think its awesome Apple already knows about them and doesn't need the professionals here to report those.
I guess based on that, this release appears to be more like a NORMAL 1st beta of a new major iOS release rather than a simple bug fix to iOS 11.x.x.x.x.x as some of the rumors had suggested previously. Looking forward to all the awesome new features and performance and bug fixes in the coming days and new betas.

Same here. Also can't find an app for creating Siri shortcuts
