Problems I’m having with is with notifications and media player on safari crashing and starting from beginning when fast forwarding

Beta 2 is turning into a bit of a train wreck for me. I mentioned earlier about my first issues with beta 12 cropping up the day after installing beta 2 while beta 1 was flawless. Wasn’t a big deal as it was a single instance of both a crash and a random respring within a 12 hour period.

Fast forward to Wednesday, my niece was born a week early and I didn’t find out until about four hours after it happened and only because I sent a text to my wife that wouldn’t go through. Rebooted the phone and I got about 70 messages from a group celebratory text that were completely shuffled.

This has happened several times since, where I have to reboot the phone due to no data connection (toggling airplane mode and cellular data do nothing).

Today as I was leaving work I got hit by the GPS bug. I also completely lost CarPlay and had to switch to Bluetooth after putting my car in reverse (usually pops right back in).

Suppose I should consider myself lucky that I made it as long as I did issue free.

Any idea when Beta 3 is here?

No body knows. But my guess is week of July 9th because of July 4th holiday.

Ah darn. I'm hoping they surprise us with a Beta on Tuesday

A Monday/Tuesday beta 3 would not be unprecedented. It could happen, for sure. The Independence Day holiday is just one day, and Apple offices will be open MTTF, so no solid reason NOT to release it next week.

Wrong thread, folks.

I just noticed on my phone when I try to take a picture/video and it’s bright out the camera is flickering like crazy to try to adjust to the brightness. When I record a video of it you can clearly see the flicker.

I am not sure if this is an OS 12 thing or my phone is messed up. I can’t reproduce it on my wife’s X on iOS 11 in the same lightning conditions.

Edit:
here is a link to the video: https://streamable.com/ej7ke

After installing iOS 12 on my iphone 7 the major issue i am facing is with the photo app.
I have around 6K images in my phone all sorted in several albums, which are not showing up in the album tab.
Though available in the photos tab, which makes it hard to find.
Only albums created in the phones are showing.

BTW, I am not using icloud library i sync images using PC (itunes)

I’m not sure if this addresses your issue, but just swipe left in the albums view now to see the full albums....or swipe up and you will see them in a list view below the top ones used.

I have to admit, I like this change as “hidden” album is now more...well...HIDDEN. I still think it should require a passcode to open, but whatevs.

What device? Seems the iPhone X is having the most issues. Interesting I don't seem to have these issues with iP6s. Even the missing sounds (swoosh) reported earlier is not missing. Odd that their flagship/newest model seems to be the one with the most issues so far. Guess because that's the one with most of the new features being added that don't apply to the older devices.

Siri has gotten a new voice in Danish. I had no idea and almost got worried, when I first heard it (in my car). The old voice has been with us for years :-D

This new one, though, is A LOT more fluid and doesn't sound like someone being put through auto-tune, like the old one did.

Edit: and there's a male voice, too, now...

Hmmmm...mine are all there. And I’m glad I noticed the change in layout.

Regular view when I open...

Swipe left to view additional albums:

Or go back to main view and swipe up to see other folders in a list view:

And of course, you see that there is a “view all” option on the main view that opens to see them like the old way.

All third party apps crashing today, not fixed with a hard reset. Back to 11.4

Wow.

I’ve noticed that beta 2 is buggier and I’ve had a couple issues that needed a hard reboot but that one really sucks. Hope I don’t see that while I’m traveling over the next few days.

I'm getting the GPS bug constantly. And a lot of random apps keep on crashing. Gonna go back to 11.4 and this time I hope I can manage to stay clear of betas.
