I don’t know if this is a bug or not, but I’m getting a new haptic feedback when swiping up on the home screen when no apps are in the app switcher. iPhone X

The haptic feedback is definitely different. I used to get a few sharp bursts when i'd try to open it with no recent apps, now the haptic feedback and the animation is slower.

I just noticed this as well. Haptics seem the same everywhere else though so I’m guessing it’s intended. We’ll see come final release!

I am able to replicate this, but this is the case:

Start downloading when on WiFi. Switch WiFi off and you can continue on cellular.

You still cannot initiate a download from cellular.

Maybe by final release, or perhaps laying some groundwork for iOS 13. :p

This is also a neat trick to download apps over 150mb too from App Store even if you have didn't toggle on use cellular data

Anyone on T-Mobile experiencing the dropped calls issue referenced in the release notes? That’s a show stopper for me to upgrade from iOS 11.

So it looks like Software Updates are finally available OTA thru cellular. I just started mine on WiFi and was going really slow, so I switched to cellular and it just kept downloading. Can anyone else try? Is it just a bug?

I believe its because you started it while on wifi. If you try to start on cellular, most likely it will complain. (seems its been that way for a while now)

How is iOS 12 beta battery life compared to iOS 11.4.1 battery life? Anybody knows?

I dont think this has been this way earlier.
Earlier you couldnt continue on cellular after wifi.

Weird thing: My battery health percentage has jumped from previous 98% back to 100% on Beta 5. Seems to me, some major changes happened to that function.

P.S. iPhone X
Mine went down 2% to 90%.. Seems like steep degradation for having bought the phone less than a year ago (X on launch).

You aren’t using your phone right. :) My year old X is at 100%.
Could it be a battery issue? I've always used coconut battery prior to Apple battery health and I've never seen my iphones fall below 98% after having them for a year. I wonder if I could get it replaced under warranty.

Slight change to release date info on pre-order albums in Music:

Now says “Upcoming Album” rather than “Pre-Release”.

Could be, but i doubt apple will replace it if it’s still at 90%.
