Twitter app has 1 notification badge, but there is nothing new for me to look at. Most likely an app issue, so not a big deal, I'll just turn off badges. I just look at it to see what's going on.

Seeing a new issue on the lock screen with seemingly dismissed notifications.
Edit: Cleared on a reboot but will keep an eye on it

SO FAR exchange email is pushing again for me.

I won’t get too excited yet, though. In each of the prior betas it worked for a time, too.

In addition to screen time not listing family members who are not kids, I notice that it lists only a single entry for my child - previously it listed two because she had two apple ids associated with her (one for iTunes, one for icloud).

Could be, but i doubt apple will replace it if it’s still at 90%.
Apple won't replace it under warranty unless it's below 80%. 90% isn't bad for after a year of use.

You could always pay to have it replaced but 10% isn't super noticeable unless all you do is check your battery health.

Siri seems quicker using homekit with homepod beta 4 was slow now its back to being instant

Definitely a twitter app issue because it's been happening since ios 11. Only way I get rid of it is to go to every tab in the app and refresh. Sometimes it thinks theres a mention, like, or message.

I believe its because you started it while on wifi. If you try to start on cellular, most likely it will complain. (seems its been that way for a while now)
I think it's different. In the past, if you disconnected the WiFI while downloading an update, it would stop the download. I'm not sure if this new behavior is intended or just a bug, but it's different.

Ugh i keep getting this "unable to check for update" error message. Anyone have any suggestions or experienced this before?

I've tried everything - Hard reset, turned off the phone for a while, reset network settings, different wifi network, cell network, removed and re-installed beta profile.

Ah ok. Personally I would never OTA update an OS using a cellular connection. Seems that is just asking for trouble. BUT I seem to remember it used to let you if you fooled it by starting on wifi 1st but I wont swear on it :) Clearly I may have been mistaken. So I suspect its a bug. My understanding is the carriers are involved with that decision too as they don't want 2+gb downloads killing their network when Apple releases an update to millions of users.

@Banglazed don't mean to hassle you but I tagged you in a post in the beta 4 thread and didn’t get a reply so will assume you missed it the first time. I suggested perhaps making clear it’s developer beta 5 in the title, and editing in that is public beta 4 (if that’s possible?) when that comes out, assuming it’s the same build (has it ever not been?). Post got a few likes so thought it might be worth considering.

Also my wallpaper and screen in general does not seem washed out like it did in Beta 3 & 4. iPhone X

Hot damn, now I'm excited. I tweaked my backgrounds to replicate the original look as best I could, but it just feels dingy in comparison to whatever hoodoo Apple does to wallpapers in iOS prior to 12.

if you have automatic updates enabled disable it and then check it again

Maybe @Banglazed just stating it in the 1st post would be sufficient? Because ultimately the entire thread may get harder to find in search and confusing if multiple beta #'s are in the title. And editing the 1st post can be easily done when PB drops. Just 2 cents :)
