I would like to try clean installation with iTunes but it’s not working with my Win 10. When I choose shift+restore and IPSW file, nothing happens. If I choose iOS 11 file, everything works. Any advice?

This happens with me also for some time. This is something to do with iTunes 12.8.0.150.

Screen time still doesn’t work well. It’s off on the iPad but I still see on my iPhone which apps I’ve used on my iPad.

Another question. When iOS 12 comes out. Would you just update from beta to final or do you reset your iPhone completely and set it as a new phone? Is the update enough?

Is anyone still having issues with iMessage in iCloud using a colossal amount of iCloud storage? My iMessage uses 18.4GB of iCloud storage but when I open ‘Messages’ under the manage storage section, the conversations only show 2.26GB. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

That a weird one. All is ok for me.

You can update from the beta to the final.

Have to say, this beta has been the worst for battery life on the iPhone X. I'll wait until the GM for a clean install of iOS 12 though. Doesn't seem to be any point in doing it now, for it to go downhill again with the next update.

Remove the beta profile if you want to get rid of the feedback app and then update to the final version, when it's released.

If you don’t want to set your phone as new, I recommend updating through iTunes, not OTA

My iPhone X can’t pair to new Bluetooth devices from the phone. Devices that are already setup works and it is visible to other devices.

Are you kidding me? I can also print them and send by snail mail.

I am not using pocket supercomputer in 21st century to do that. When every dumb chatting app can attach more messages at once.
No, I wasn’t kidding. What I was doing was offering a workaround for Apple’s poor design. Thanks for your snide reply to my attempt to help.

I hope Apple sends an update tomorrow. This black screen is annoying. It happens random. Either in settings or even with apps.

For real. Will be weekly now. Black screen also happens when changing classic ringtones/notifications. Saw that posted on a different site. Sure enough. Black screen. Even though default apps are installed. Also, every once in awhile iMessage badge gets stuck showing I have a message, but I've read all my messages.

The final beta or GM is effectively the release version and will typically be the full installer package verses the small deltas from each beta. So you can simply update to that and should be good to go without setting up a new.

My iMessages are having lots of trouble syncing. The messages app shows old messages for everyone on the conversation list. When I click on an individual conversation thread, then I see latest message on conversation list. Pretty annoying.
