Not to state the obvious but.... is auto brightness turned on causing this perhaps? Maybe turn it off (if its on) and see if that helps.
Well, the obvious worked. Thanks for that. Your reply made me search harder. Ha! I never turned it on and apparently it’s been on ever since the first beta annoying me. Took me a while to find it they really hid it well. Don’t know why it wouldn’t be under display options.

The Bluetooth bug is annoying. It keep connecting and disconnecting from my car every few seconds. I did find it has to do something with contact syncing.

While connected to my car I went to setting, Bluetooth, device info and deselected sync contacts .. it’s been working fine now.

Tap disease seems to have migrated from instagram to FB Messenger. Even with reinstalling/rebooting. Sometimes even waking the phone while in messenger will result in a black screen unresponsive to touch (even swipe to home) for ~30 seconds.

Thank you so much for this! Hopefully my iPhone will connect to my car now!

Hey y’all, quick question. How is the ram management now for the iPhone X on the latest iOS 12 beta? Thanks!

I have found that each night Do Not Disturb at Bedtime turns itself on.
I have DND completely off in settings, but in the morning it will be on and on in control centre, but still off in settings.
same for me, noticed it on my Apple watch, didn't check the phone (but I guess the phone also went in DND as both are set up to mirror each other). Turns out in the Bedtime options there's a "DND during bedtime" that's was on. Never noticed this setting, and certainly didn't turn it on myself...
In the Settings -> DND -> this settings is not there.

Is anyone else having issues with Bluetooth? The service keeps crashing when it connects to my car, a 2009 BMW 335i with iDrive. When it’s connected to my Apple Watch it’s fine though... I’ve ruled out the car since other devices on iOS 11 connect just fine.

My fiancees BMW 325d (late 2008) with iDrive is having problems with Beta 6. When she connects to the iDrive bluetooth, the iPhone X turns it's own bluetooth completely off, and then back on again and won't connect.

I've got a 335d 2009 without iDrive and will try mine later, as I use a third party bluetooth adaptor in the car for calls and Apple Music streaming, but I will give the built in bluetooth a test later.

Beta 5 was fine, so it's clearly a bug.

I think he means when the phone stops responding to touch, which I've noticed a few times over various iOS 12 beta's.

I noticed many UI glitches and Apple Music automatic downloads don’t work properly for me, but it seems very good for beta 6. iOS 11 wasn’t even close to this when it was beta 6.

Hello, I have iOS 12 beta 5 when I tried to update to beta 6 the update page stuck on request update since the release of beta 6
I tried hard restart, remove profile, update via iTunes (when I try to update it says requires new version of iTunes which I already have). Any idea ?
Pleas some help

Excellent! Yeah they moved it away from Display Settings where it has always been for some kooky reason in iOS 11 I believe it was. Glad that worked.

Open your clock and look at bedtime at the bottom then options. Its probably enabled in there.

I’m only experiencing a slight battery drain.. but other than that. This beta is rock solid on my X.. I experienced a few crashes on first day of install but haven’t experienced any the last 2 days or so..

Pleas some help

Personally I had to delete profile, reboot, wait for a pop up saying the update failed, reinstall profile, reboot again, then it worked. I wish I stayed with 5 though, 6 is worse for me.

When a person with iPhone read a message I sent, it no longer say "read" under the message, only "delivered ". Anyone else have that issue?

Hello fellow beta users,

I've been monitoring the forums closely since the first beta release. So far the Beta's ran without major gripes on my 8+

But since Beta 4 I have a strange behaviour where my mobile connection (GSM-Provider) drops from time to time for a short amount of time and afterwards cellular is restored. I've deactivated SIM PIN, Auto Date & Time. But so far I haven't been able to pinpoint the nature of the issue. I have already sent feedback to Apple.

Maybe someone here has a tip. DFU Restore and fresh install didn't help.

The fix posted somewhere on this thread works. Go to the Bluetooth settings for the car in the iPhone, and turn off contact syncing. That should fix it.

I can not test yet. CAm mail attache more then one pic at once already? As of 10.3 only one by one. It sucks.
Have you tried going into photos and selecting the photos you want to email and then pressing the share button? I can attach as many photos as I want this way but I don't use Apple's garbage stock mail app.

That may be the result of the receiver turning off return receipts for messages received from you.

I will let you know how that works out. My work iPhone has 11.4.1 with no issues connecting to the car and my personal iPhone has the Bluetooth issues shown by my video earlier. I will try the contact syncing and see if that fixes it, if so I will update my bug report if it hasn't already been reported as the fix.
