Is connecting ok to my x6 35 2012.
I tried to use Google maps in my car using CarPlay but can’t find the Google maps icon on the car display.
I found the below link and followed the instructions to enable Google maps but there’s still no icon to click.

Anyone with ideas if this is a bug or if I’m doing something wrong?

So was I. I was just saying "there's no current method to do what you're asking" in a more light, quirky way.I am serious. I’ve got long notes though

that tooi thought Google Maps has to be updated first?
Well none of my alarms went off this morning, and neither did my wife’s. Anyone else?
It’s hard to say how the average user feels. People are more likely to join in the conversation here when something is going wrong. Some of us are having a pretty positive experience with this and the last few betas. In any case, I hope the next beta fixes your issues.Very interesting, how each beta seems more buggy than the previous, at least to the average user.
Thanks. I thought it was implemented. My bad.it's not available yet. not until full release of iOS 12 (who knows later). That article is dated June 6, 2018. The day apple announced it.

that too
Has anyone noticed app updates not installing or the update ring filling quickly before returning to "update".
This hasn't happened to me until last night and all day today. I've been having to uninstall and reinstall the apps.
Been running beta 6 since release day with no problem until now.
Check out this video. Not sure what the cause is but it only started after this update. No BT issues for me too. iPhone 7 Plus, developer beta, updated OTA.
Yes, when there, scrolling down and then up, app settings will crash and after go to home screen and go back again to app settings, it’s all white.iPhone 7 Plus
When I enter Settings/my iCloud name/iCloud/Manage Storage it crashes the Settings App. All Apple apps are installed. I reported it.

Same here. When it crashes, the screen goes black. I click the home button and home screen appears. Eventually allows me back into Settings.Yes, when there, scrolling down and then up, app settings will crash and after go to home screen and go back again to app settings, it’s all white.
You mean double back to back like a stutter or after a few moments? The latter is a setting that may have changed back to repeat if you had that off. I have had the double stutter ding ding at times throughout all the betas from time to time.Does anyone else receive a repeated alert about the same new message?
Is that a bug?
Not to state the obvious but.... is auto brightness turned on causing this perhaps? Maybe turn it off (if its on) and see if that helps.I’ve noticed thru all the betas that my display brightness self adjusts and I need to turn it back up to where I like it at least 5 or 6 times a day. Is this the Apple nanny trying to save my eyes or maybe battery. I don’t need it.
