Why can't you use your second SIM now?
As mentioned above, you need a carrier update, not iOS update. Everything for esim is in 12.1. Only thing coming in 12.1.1 is visual voicemail bug fix for esim.Because I need a carrier that I can use the esim with?

0. It never went to beta. How many betas did 11.1.1 have?
Thanks. Slowly getting back into the routine of life now that the fire has passed. It’s going to take years to rebuild my city unfortunately. It looks like a war zone.Thanks. Hope your safe and well.

No, SoCal - Woolsey Fire. Are you in paradise?
Miraculously, yes. The wind went only one way and didn't change. For once the winds were very predictable.Holy ****! Is your house ok?
No, SoCal - Woolsey Fire.
This is less than .5 miles from my house.

watchOS has had one beta? I highly doubt public is coming today. macOS 10.14.2 is going to require more than 2 betas. So what’s the over/under the final build is released today?

This is our typical X.2 beta cycle. Meaning early to mid December for final release.
Again, no. eSIM is already out. 12.1. Carriers can choose whenever they want to support it. I have been using my eSIM in the US already. Another update is not needed. They need to flip the switch.BUT the US carriers have said eSim is out 11/17 so has to be released today or tomorrow.

Visual voicemail bugs are irrelevant to needing an update to launch eSIM on a network. 12.1.1 is not needed to launch eSIM on the 17th, which is a Saturday so I doubt its launching on the weekend.True, but the visual voice mail issue is causing the delay at AT & T for one. Verizon with their issues.
And iOS 12.1.1 will change this how exactly?
Where exactly have they stated that? Source?Because multiple Verizon techs have stated that the update to make the dual sim work with their network is supposed to be released with 12.1.1
Multiple corporate reps I’ve spoken to?Where exactly have they stated that? Source?
