And not to get too ahead of ourselves, but just out of curiosity: When does everyone think 12.2 developer beta 1 will deploy?
@dan9700 i hope so too. But my guess is Tuesday.
Not trying to jinx it....but if you look at the dates when software revisions came out of beta...I think the most common release day for the past couple years was Monday.
If we're going by past releases, it would come a day after the final release.
Given the time since the last beta, we could see another today or tomorrow. Final release (of that version) could be Thursday or Friday.
True but macOS and tvOS came out last week... may need more testing for those.
After this much wait we deserve something today
I don't think this update everyone is waiting for is going to live up to the "hype" at all.........
Then again, there really hasn't been much hype to begin with (well maybe the redesigned FaceTime...)
A beta and final release of the same version in one week? Never. Absent emergency circumstances (11.2 for daylight savings time bug) we have never gotten a beta and final in the same week.
Are you sure about that? I seem to recall a beta release of something early in a week (the "GM") followed by a final release late that week. Or perhaps a midweek beta followed by a final release 5-6 days later, but falling in the next week. But I don't have time to go do the research on this, and I could just be mis-remembering.
