I'm on 12.1.1 (XS). If I were to factory restore through iTunes, will it download 12.1.2 and install it on the device (I just saw it pop in Software Update)?

Thanks!

I think that the "original" iOS 11.1.2 that they added in beta last week will be renamed iOS 11.1.3 and will enter beta this week so they can continue what they already started..

i can see 12.1.3 beta 1 being next since yesterday was a emergency fix to get 12.1.2 out the door and everything else got moved to the next beta.

12.1.2 beta has been the worst yet on my XS max ATT for reception. Often when in full 4G I get no data and its slower at connecting back to LTE. The previous software versions have been ok for me reception wise. My guess is they are still tweaking the modem/carrier software in the betas.

Beta 2 after the holidays?
I mean it will still be called beta one. They won't release a Beta 2 without a beta 1, but internally it might be known as beta 2. But yes, I think after the Holidays, or maybe they will go straight to 12.2 at that point.

I’m gonna predict it becomes 12.1.5, just to prevent another mishap.
Yeah, it's a little odd they didn't do that from the beginning, given that's how they've done it before (and certainly would have made good sense now).
