In my opinion beta 4 was the best and most stable one. Better than 12.1.4. But Beta 6 is much worse than the final version.

In all fairness, there have been several times in which a new functionality isn’t active when a product ships. Most recently, ECG in the Series 4. I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if 12.2 drops tomorrow at 10am, instead of today at 12:30-1pm. A couple hours without “Hey Siri” is by no means that outrageous to cause outrage.

Except that it was clear the ECG feature would not be active when 12.0 dropped. "Later this year", I believe was the terminology. Happy to acknowledge if I turn out to be wrong, but I don't think so.

Yes, if it’s the same build.

I'm not saying you are wrong, I'm playing Devil's Advocate. I was just pointing out that your premise doesn't explicitly reach your conclusion.

I’m not expecting the new services to launch next week. This is more of a preview. Apple Music was previewed in a March event and didn’t launch until June 30.

Well seeing as how they’ve already changed the News icon on iOS 12.2 and macOS 10.14.4, I would expect something to change there. I don’t see why at least the News/Magazines service wouldn’t launch today. (Remember they did a similar icon change when Apple Music launched). The TV/Movie and whatever else services though, yeah I bet that comes later.

Yes, I agree that the News is likely to launch this week. I should have been more clear in my previous post. The Apple TV app and services are likely to come around WWDC or shortly after.

This comes up when I hit Apple Pay cash in iMessage.

It didn’t come up like this before 12.2 beta 6. Shows US money and not Canadian thou...

Sorry but that's your phone, not iOS.

I had wifi and cellular data issues on both of my XS phones on all versions of iOS 12. My 7 has been perfect on both beta 5 and beta 6.
