I guess they are working on 12.1 already...only 4 weeks until the official release.

OTA usually comes first. For me at least.

They won’t jump straight to 8. They can’t have an entire beta so broken that the majority of users can’t test it. A fix for 7 will come before 8. Likely today and before end of day Friday.

Just out of curiosity: how do you come by the information that the beta is "so broken that the majority of users can't test it"?

My point is: let's avoid hyperbole. They pulled it yes. There is no evidence that I've seen that it was so broken that a majority could not test it. It doesn't have to be that broken for Apple to decide that its better to do a do over.

Not to mention the fact that many were able to download and have been have zero issues! B8 can only be better!
