Sad to hear, but your problems can most likely be solved without waiting for a new release (reinstall iOS). What you describe is not the majority opinion of beta 8—on the contrary! Or maybe you just have some app(s) making problems in the backround.

Beta 8 is fantastic on my X but I would like to continue rating my new music so I'm hoping for Monday.
I will always be curious about the issue that caused an early 8. And wonder if 7 was fixed and reissued as 8 or if they released 8 early. I guess if they release 9 on Monday we’ll know and if they delay next beta then we’ll know it was an early release of 8

The release notes for both were the same, so probably just a fix of the issue.
Probably Monday for beta 9 or Tuesday since there are still more issues that need to be addressed before the public release.
Unless they want 8 “out there” for more than 5 days to collect whatever data they assigned to it.
Be aware there’s still going to be bugs after release in September, likely even some that “need to be addressed before public release”. That’s what x.x.x releases are for. Same thing happens every year.
Hopefully since we’re coming down the home stretch we will see nothing but improvements. But if that were always true there would be no reason for betas and we would be discussing the weather
The numbers don’t matter (in reference to each other). Still thinking Tuesday but would not be shocked if tomorrow.
This, I’m 50/50 with Monday/Tuesday, won’t be surprised with either, but I will be surprised if it’s after then

Rambo said iOS 12 beta 8 was built on the Monday that they released the bugged beta 7 so it wasn’t the intended beta 8, I could see them releasing beta 9 this week.
I'm calling beta 9 at lunchtime (Central US time). I honestly can't think of anything that could be better on my phone but I know a lot of people are still having issues. Here's to hoping everybody's experience is like mine after today!
