I think everybody was just crossing digits/appendages hoping and praying for some sort of relief from the train wreck that was most of iOS 11.

Not a whole lot to complain about with iOS 12 if you ask me.

funny enough the ios 12 beta had the biggest issues for me (and I know I am in the minority here) with the cell data issue for T-mobile customers I would lose LTE whenever my phone switched from wifi to cellular prompting a reboot.... The issue with the screen going dark when auto brightness got low also prompting a reboot... it wasn't till the very end that I realized I could ask siri to raise the brightness, doh! so many reboots later..... Then there was the not being able to update apps from the app store or download anything on netflix or my podcast app, that was brutal! then the infamous update your software prompt every time I unlocked my phone..... Those who were big annoying issues and with ios 11 beta I just had little nagging ones.

Again I know I am in the minority here and most people absolutely loved ios 12... please don't attack me, this is my personal experience only.

I'm not one for attacking people's opinions most days.

Lucky for me, I skipped the betas that had the major issues and am really basing my opinion off of the last two. I think it's safe to assume the GM will be fairly similar to what is available now since it seems we're done with betas for this version.

If you look at iOS 10 for example, the last few betas were very close in builds (suggesting a slow down) but the difference between the last beta and GM was still like 60 builds which is several weeks of solid development.

Does that mean, ios 12 GM will be smoother and better than the last beta ?

I thought this was just me. I've had the same issue since updating to beta 12, but not every time.
